There are plenty of copies left at the Target near me. And none of them are in that Spider wire crap. The packaging blows away the SB edition. Really in love with the Target version.

The Target digitbook is just for TDKR, right? If so does Target have an exclusive version of the trilogy set like BB does?

Yes it is. The only Best buy exclusive that was pressed that I know of is Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 3D blu. The extras section had an option that said Best Buy Exclusive for one of the featurrettes.

So I'm guessing since Dark Knight Reborn is pressed on the disc, the others like Target doesn't have it?

Been watching the special features - good stuff. Just finished up all the production shorts they have. Interesting to note that one of the sequences was shot in 48 fps.

God damn disc doesn't resume, nor is there a bookmark option. Every other studio offers such an option. Why can't WB?

Mine did... even after swapping the disc out to watch a ST:TNG S2 episode the next day before finishing the movie. A screen popped up frozen at the point I stopped asking if I wanted to resume or start over.

Gees. The movie wasn't even that good. You need to own that many copies?

Who are you to tell someone what to do with their money. If he likes the movie that much then buying all those makes it that much more special. Especially those that are only available on a limited basis. Geez I get so tired of people trying to tell someone else what they need and don't need and what to spend their money on. Just worry about yourself and not what someone else is spending their money on. It's called building a collection of something you truly love and enjoy. Get over it.

The other thing is there are different versions of the entire trilogy and video games not just The Dark Knight Rises.
And yes the movie was that good.

Woah. Looks like I made the Bat fans angry.

I'll rephrase it - The movie wasn't that good to own 15 copies of the film.

One? Sure. 15? No.

IS THAT OK GUYS? Sorry, I can't have an opinion on a film. I am very, very sorry. Let's all get back to drooling over 15 copies of the same film.

The only thing worse than that is a bunch of pissed-off Avatar sycophants.

That was a threadcrap and you know it. The least you could do is own up to it instead of trying to blame everyone else for being overly sensitive/not understanding humor and/or hiding behind the "well that's my opinion" shield. If a DVD collector can't show off his DVD collection on DVD Talk - in a thread specifically dedicated to a certain release - then what's the point?

Take your movie opinion and judgmental sniping to the movie sub-forum.

No it's not ok again. It's his money, his choice. If he or anyone else wants to own 800 copies then that's their choice.

With more than 27,000 posts under your belt you know that opinions on the quality of a movie are welcome in the reviews threads.
