Don't understand the question....this is all about the 3D and the Target exclusive, and the Amazon refunds!

I watched it all the way through earlier. It's as you would expect/hope from this release - it looks great and the sound is loud as hell. Little light on the extras though.

I don't see the big deal about the stacking; are people worried about the hub breaking or something? I can't imagine disc scratches being an issue with the Blu-ray discs.

Had they not altered the hubs by raising them, then I probably would have an issue since regular size hubs might cause the discs to slide off. But with these raised, there should be 0 issues.

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012

Has anyone had issues watching this on a PS3?

My wife and I tried watching the 2D disc the other night and there was constant skipping and freezing. We checked the disc to make sure it was clean, but the issue still occurred. I'm assuming I just have a bad disc, but has anyone else had problems?

I played all of the 2D this morning, then about 20 minutes of the 3D one. No issues on my PS3 slimboy.

I was a bit disappointed that the digital copy was in SD only with the purchase of an HD movie ... I mean, at least with The Hunger Games they gave you an HD copy too.

Play this the other night. Great movie, didn't catch this on theater. Pic and sound were outstanding. And yes the extras were a little light but Target bonus disc made it up for this. Surprised that the bonus disc was in HD.

Yep. I gave the DVD to my cousin and put the Target bonus blu-ray in its place in the case.

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012

Got my Wal-Mart exclusive copy yesterday. Nice to see the graphic novel of Avengers: Year One was actually regular comic/graphic novel sized. Apparently in Europe they got a digest version.

And then went on Ebay to get a copy of the Target exclusive disc since there's quite a few people selling them there separately for decent prices. (Pretty much can get them if you bid right for under $10 including shipping).

Amazon refunded me $9.97 today for my pre-order of this. I think I got $8 earlier with a clipped coupon as well. Not a bad deal at all!

So I guess avengers season one is a paperback? And what's on the Target disc? I couldn't believe the 2 featurettes were both under 10 minutes. I probably wait a few weeks to watch with the commentary.

The movie is loads of fun but, yes, it's horribly written dreck.

I give Joss Whedon credit for making a Michael Bay movie where you can actually see the action.

I don't think it's anything close to "horribly written dreck," which sounds pretty harsh to me

Horribly written dreck is so far from the truth it's laughable to even say it. It's not even hyperbole it's worse then that.

I'm sure Avengers: SO will first be actually solicited through Diamond as a hardcover like the rest of them. But yeah the Walmart version is a regular TPB.

The Target disc is a 90 minute BTS telling the story of how all the other Marvel movies come together to eventually form the Avengers but as others have said, most of the material is just BTS segments from all the other movies with new narration.

Still a sucker to have to buy it, but I'll watch it when its here to see what its all about.

Saw this last night for the first time (two young kids prevent seeing movies in the theater) and really enjoyed it.

No need to get your panties in a twist. I enjoyed the film loads (wouldn't have ordered the BD otherwise) and the banter was great. But it does feel like a Michael Bay movie (except much better). And I was just teasing with the "horribly written dreck" comment, though the script isn't all that great (again, fitting into the Bay mold).

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012

The script isn't masterful by any means, but I also wouldn't even call it close to bad. I think it was pretty solid to be honest, working with all these characters. Weird thing to tease about, I guess.

I think it's a good and witty script made loads better by the actors and the direction of it.
