and it sounds like the new scan wont happen that immediately or quickly

so apparently a reissue of this is being released and guess what...it's ANOTHER upscale even after the producer promised a new scan.

and people wonder why everyone else has not rushed to blu. It is examples like that have the general public doubting the format. Even though granted this film has a small group of irate fans. There are countless ones for many other films. The Killer and Reindeer Games comes to mind etc...

I was waiting to hear if they were going to screw this up again. Apparently they did.

While the way this movie and some others have been treated on Blu-ray has been pretty shameful, I don't think that has much of any impact on what the general public thinks about Blu-ray. Most of the general public is probably unaware of any type of problems with these discs.

Wow, never thought I'd ever see such a scathing and frankly honest review. It is indeed very well deserved, because of all the deception produced about the release and the epic failure which has now resulted for a second time.

In full agreement that the 'public' (AKA: you and I) have no idea what to expect anymore in the Blu-Ray format. Such promise, eh?
