I'm hoping for The Birds ...they will probably wait for the remake to be released I would imagine.

This will be a must own release. I'm thrilled about this coming out, and it's great knowing the soundtrack (score) was also restored.

I know there was a interview where Brad fuller said they are still investigating a way to make one, that would work. But he has admited as recent as last fall that its way on the back burner, cause they know the type of response it would get unless its done absolutely right.

This will be the third copy of Psycho I own, but I can't pass up a release that looks this good.

I own the original DVD release, and I begrudgingly held off on buying the Legacy Edition in hopes that the Blu was on it's way. Every time we'd be shopping at Target, we would pass it and often I had to physically restrain myself from throwing it in the cart.

So you couldn't spend $20 on it? Man, You have great self discipline.

It was more the principle of knowing it would be a triple dip . Its not like it came out years and years ago. Blu-ray was already the established winner in the format war, so I felt that it was more of a last chance for Universal to milk more money out of a DVD release.

I refused to double dip also. Except I was waiting for the HD DVD.

This is the artwork blu-ray.com has listed. I'd prefer the Legacy Series cover, but this is still a good choice, especially with the red background.

That's probably not final, given there's no banner along the bottom of it as per usual for Universal.

While this isn't bad, the Legacy artwork was so much classier.

If anything, it's usually the opposite. The slipcover won't have the banner but the art underneath will. Literally the only Universal title I know of that doesn't have that banner is "It's Complicated."

Hmm, not wowed by the cover but glad for the release.

Admittedly, I prefer the Legacy artwork. That one isn't bad, though. I wouldn't be surprised if they fine-tuned it a bit before release...
