Re: Psycho 50th Anniversary BD
My wife (then girlfriend) dragged me to see this underwhelming remake of one of the greatest films ever made when it came out originally. About two-thirds of the way through the movie, the projector shut off and the lights mysteriously came on.
Unfortunately, the movie did resume a few minutes later.

I was at Target and I saw this girl get really excited about it and point it out to her boyfriend. He told her to go ahead get it, then she picked it up and got a really disappointed look on her face. She put it back on the rack and said "I thought was the Vince Vaughn one". I laughed pretty hard about that.

I think my Target had it marked as $17.99. I was tempted to get it but I think I'll just wait and go with the UK version instead. Better audio plus I wouldn't mind seeing the Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode which isn't present on the
US Blu.

Yeah, it was $19.99. I passed on it since I have the Universal Legacy Series release and because the next few weeks are going to be bad due to other releases/sales. I might pick it up later when it's cheaper.

Re: Psycho 50th Anniversary BD
I've heard that The Birds is being worked on for a Bluray release next after Psycho? Anyone confirm this?
I need to dump my current DVD of The Birds if this is true.
I was happy with the new Psycho release. I had never seen this movie all the way through before so I was watching this for the first time after 50 years.

Presumably, these would be 1st-quarter releases, but any of these titles could very easily be delayed.

Is the blu-ray OOP?
it was around $14.99 at Amazon then bumped to $19.99 and you can't find it at bestbuy. target, or walmart.com.
I thought it would be a 100 years Universal release but I think that is only for DVD and not blu-ray.

When you can't find it at multiple stores including barnes and noble it must be OOP or on the verge with a new edition probably coming in the future.

Re: Psycho 50th Anniversary BD
I will definitely pick these up. I actually liked Psycho 3 better than 2. Shame they couldn't round out Perkins stuff and issue 4 as well. Now i have to keep my DVD 3 pack. What sucks is I only paid maybe 10 bucks for that 3 pack. These two movies is going to cost me at least 5 times that amount.

I remember there was a good nude scene in Psycho II
