I'll probably get The Serpent and the Rainbow and Village of the Damned.

I'll definitely get Village of the Damned and probably TCM 2. Even though I have the amazing 3 disc ARROW release of TCM 2, I MAY have to double dip. Although in truth I wish there were releasing Leatherface TCM 3 instead.

Well, there goes that. Thanks! It was still available for 20 bucks but will not do me a bit of good if I can't play it.

In for Serpent and the Rainbow & Death Becomes Her (two of my favorties). Going to consider Village of the Damned as a blind buy. Real big Carpenter fan.

Finally received my second batch of AoD discs. I had them sent to my work this time. Took about a week (though I might have missed Saturday delivery).

I think there's an issue with the mail room in our condo building- I've ordered and never received some Magic cards and Bernie Sanders bumper stickers. Might have to complain to the local postmaster.

I'm looking forward to this. Sucks there's such a big delay.

One of my favorite movies but I can live with a delay if they're making it the best release possible. I wasn't expecting any extras so that's a plus.

Perhaps they were fortunate enough to get the participation of Martin Brest? Still pretty amazing that he just walked away in 2003 and never looked back (or has been kept away, depending on the sources one reads). Not holding my breath on him re-appearing for Blu-ray supplements, but it would certainly be cool.

re: The One and Only Shout! Studios (and Scream Factory!) Blu-ray Thread

So Scream Factory is doing a Valentine's Day themed sale for the next two weeks. They'll have a daily title on sale for the next two weeks as well as some titles on sale throughout.

Today's Deal:

Tales From The Crypt Presents: Demon Knight- $16.99

On sale for the next two weeks:

Body Bags- $11.99
Evilspeak- $9.99
Final Exam- $9.99
Gravy- $4.99
The Harvest- $4.99
The Slumber Party Massacre- $9.99

Think I'll at least grab Body Bags for that price. The price for Demon Knight is pretty good too.

I'm all over Final Exam at that price. Apparently shipping is free with the purchase of two titles, so I just need to wait for the right deal of the day.

Synopsis

"This very effective thriller features a chilling performance by Rutger Hauer as the emotionless killing machine." – TV Guide's Movie Guide

Sylvester Stallone and Rutger Hauer star in this riveting story of suspense and intrigue that starts in London, continues in Paris and reaches its chilling conclusion on the streets of New York.

When Europe's most feared terrorist (Hauer – The Hitcher) explosively announces his presence in Manhattan, two elite undercover cops (Stallone and Billy Dee Williams) are assigned to stop him before he strikes again. But the ruthless terrorist has other plans for the city - and the detectives.

This edge-of-your-seat thriller, directed by Bruce Malmuth (Hard to Kill), also stars Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman), Persis Khambatta (Star Trek: The Motion Picture), Nigel Davenport (The Island of Dr. Moreau) and Joe Spinell (Maniac).

And two songs previously omitted will now be restored.

as for the other Chuck Norris movie Braddock: Mission in Action III, it sounds like there are no extras. Someone who apparently works for Shout! posted this info at Blu-Ray.com

Might jump at the price on Demon Knight. Can anybody recommend Evilspeak or Final Exam?
