I'm betting on a Phantasm box set, Vincent Price Vol. 3, Misery, and individual releases of Child's Play 1, 2, and 3.

re: The One and Only Shout! Studios (and Scream Factory!) Blu-ray Thread
My two ultimate pie in the sky dreams would be for 2 deluxe sets that rival the Halloween set, one for Romeros 6 Dead films (and if they're feeling generous the 3 remake films) and one for the 5 Terminator films (assuming Genisys doesn't drum up enough cash for a sequel). At the very least I'd accept a proper T2 set with both cuts and all extras ported over from the "Extreme" dvd set and a proper Dawn set that rivals the Ultimate Edition dvd, with everything ported over and new transfers all around. Owning multiple copies of things in multiple packaging and multiple formats is getting old.

If I had to bet, it would be on stuff like Who Slew Auntie Roo, Ghost Story, SSSSSS, Misery, with the rest being late 80's-90's stuff.
Last I heard Coscareli owned the original Phantasm and is supposed to have a relationship with Image so that one is likely off the table for Shout. VP vol. 3 doesn't look likely either, given what scraps they have left.

Much as I'd like to have a third Vincent Price set, I don't know what would be left to male a "set", since so many of the remaining titles have been recently announced through other sources like Kino ("Goldfoot", "Twice Told Tales") and Twilight Time has "Scream and Scream Again". On the other hand, I'm hoping someone will pick up "Theater of Blood".

Scream Factory posted on their Facebook page that their Summer of Fear sale starts today, but thus far their website doesn't appear to have any sales going. I'm guessing it'll be updated later though.

Some okay deals, but a lot of them are just the normal prices that Amazon has them for. I may still order a few titles directly from them. Thinking of getting Dolls for the coaster set as I've been meaning to pick that title up for a while anyways.

As usual their "sale" is nothing special and disappointing.
Thanks for the post though.

Yeah its not the greatest because all their stuff on their site is regular MSRP to begin with so a sale is usually just regular price on Amazon. Their October sale is better a little bit I think.
Also they revealed the covers for Tales From the Crypt: Bordello of Blood and Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight.

What's he rundown of the state of the ED movies on BD? I know that Raimi did some minor Lucasing to the first one and 2 has never had the monk track. Can I retire my DVDs?

Anyone pick up the Ghosthouse/Witchery double feature from Scream Factory? I thought Ghosthouse was pretty bad but Witchery stars the immortal duo of David Hasselhoff and Linda Blair. Witchery is cheesy Eighties horror fun.
The transfers for both are pretty blah, though Witchery looks better as a more professional production.

I did order a few from the Summer of Fear sale yesterday. Went with Dolls, Phantom of the Opera, and Swamp Thing. Not a spectacular sale but some titles I've meant to get anyways and they weren't any more than Amazon was charging. Plus I sort of wanted the coaster set.

I thought about picking that one up but didn't yet. Might go for it at some point.

I think they could have grabbed the Euro-Cut, but they'd run into legal issues here in the states.

Can't wait until tomorrow to find out what ten films they're announcing to be released on Blu-ray. The 70s-90s is my favorite timespan for horror films so hopefully we get some cool stuff.

Have to say Shout was really prompt with getting my order out. Placed my order early Tuesday morning, they shipped it that afternoon and it arrived today. They aren't close to where I am either.

I consider my ED1 and ED2 BD's to be all I need. Holding out hope that ED3 (AoD) BD is up to par with those other two.

Looks like The Car is one of the ten that will be announced tonight.
Fun film. I already own the Arrow which is a big improvement over the DVD, otherwise I would be all over this one.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see Matinee get a Shout/Scream release. Another film I wouldn't need as I have the French release which is great- but it would be good news for region locked fans, of which the film has more than Universal seems to realize or care about.

Whew...another big line up announcement that contains nothing I need and/or care about.
What I do need to do is save money this year- and Scream, Kino, Criterion, Olive, and Twilight Time are all saving me gobs of dough.
Congrats to all those that do see something in here though.

Ghost Story is the only must-buy on the list for me.
Maybe ROTLD if it has the original audio.
