If you buy two or more titles the shipping is free. Not sure what it is for just regular shipping. I'm guessing $5.99 since that's what they're chart shows.

Thanks. Bought just about everything I was interested in last October. Save for a handful of titles, I'm not getting much this year. I want Pumpkinhead, but not wanting to pay shipping.

re: The One and Only Shout! Studios (and Scream Factory!) Blu-ray Thread
Based on the order I just placed (Pumpkinhead And Saturn 3), and the orders I placed last year, I believe any order for two or more items gets free shipping. And before I added the second movie the shipping was $3.00, not $5.99.

I think that the shipping is free for orders containing two or more sale items, or $3 for a single sale item.

*NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENTS**
Since our announcement earlier this week of our double-bill of FOOD OF THE GODS & FROGS went over so well with the majority, we thought it would be exciting/surprising if we followed it up and revealed FOUR more “Animal-Creature attack” films coming sometime next Summer for the first time on the blu-ray format! So without further ado…
- Bert I Gordon’s EMPIRE OF THE ANTS (with “Dynasty’s” Joan Collins battling radioactive insects) will be paired with 1982’s devil-possessed cobra film JAWS OF SATAN (with Fritz Weaver as a priest and a young Christina Applegate) as a double feature.
- The Italian-made prehistoric campy octopus flick TENTACLES (starring John Huston and Shelly Winters) will share ocean space with another prehistoric campy water creature – the Danish-made REPTILICUS - on a double feature as well.
We still have more films to announce this month so be sure to check back here on our page this month to be the first to see them!

While we're releasing reptile films, I'd love to get SSSSSSS and VENOM on Bluray. Not sure about licensing issues?
But, love that FROGS, FOOD OF THE GODS, EMPIRE OF THE ANTS, and TENTACLES are being released.
Maybe the Holy Grail would be a Blu of the newly-discovered full cut of PHASE IV? With these other killer animal releases, it's certainly within the realm of possibility.

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENTS**
Our month-long "Shocktober" celebration continues with two more films to reveal: CARRIE - the 2002 TV-movie remake of Stephen King’s timeless tale of telekinetic revenge which stars Angela Bettis - and THE RAGE: CARRIE II - the 1999 theatrical sequel to Brian DePalma's original 1976 masterpiece and stars Amy Irving - will make their debut on the Blu-ray format next Spring as a double-feature.
There are no details on extras at this time (if any are planned) and they will be announced sometime next year, along with a confirmed street date.
On a relevant side note (and in case you were wondering): We did try to acquire the Sissy Spacek classic last year in the hopes of doing a “Collector’s Edition” version and a new transfer but it did not pan out for various reasons. We can’t get them all.
We still have more films to announce in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned this month here on our page to be the first to see them!

So I placed my first ever order with Shout-Scream Factory last week for a couple of their Shocktober sale titles.
It has been a week since I placed my order and, aside from an order confirmation email, I haven't heard anything else from them. No shipping confirmation or package waiting in my mail box. Are these guys really slow fulfilling orders, or do I need to contact them?

I ordered from them last year and the order was handled super quick. Don't know what the hell is going on this year.

I thought their comment about the original Carrie was interesting. It sounds like someone else might have got the rights to release a new special edition with a new transfer....perhaps Criterion or Arrow?

Or MGM just wanted to keep that one for themselves, it's one of their primary horror titles that they seem to feature.

Still waiting on my shipment of the order that includes Pumpkin head. If others ordered that title, they are not alone in the wait. Sadly the delay makes me believe I will not receive a copy with the slipcover. Really like Scream Factory slips.

I love Lord of Illusions, The Rage: Carrie 2 and Class of 1984, but have nothing but disdain for this company. With overseas versions looking unlikely (or, in LOI's case, not uncut), I guess I'll wait for used copies. I hope Kino starts grabbing more MGM horror.
