I think it became rare the day it was released. I went to a few Best Buys on the day it was released and found only one. It was the DVD version. I've never seen one since.

DVDs of the Nut Up or Shut Up Edition are running $57 used and $59 new on Amazon.com, while a used Blu-Ray is set at $99.95. Only one of each item, so it's hard to tell if they're selling at those prices.

Sold mine on Ebay about a month or two back for $69.99. Put it at "Buy it Now" and it sold the next day. I liked the movie but plan to buy the regular edition at BB next week for $14.99.

People pay so much for a 20 minute thing. Wow.

And isn't the bonus disc a regular DVD? Why pay so much for SD content for Blu-Ray

That's insane. I still see new copies of the DVD at Best Buy. I've never seen the Blu-ray in person though.

I think it has something to do with the following:

1. Its a Store Exclusive
2. The Coverart is Exclusive
3. Yes the bonus content might be a DVD but its still an Exclusive
4. Its SCARCE, RARE, and getting HUGE DEMANDS

Re: Zombieland-2/2/10

Just a heads up, this title is part of a sale going on at HMV in Canada right now. Cost is $14.99 for a bunch of Sony Blu Rays, including Zombieland, Cloudy, Black Dynamite, etc.

PM with FS or BB and pick it up for sub $15 with tax.

I was happy I holded out buying it when it was first released =D
