Question about bluray on amazon.co.uk
Will Bluray movies listed as region free in PAL format play in a U.S. Bluray player?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Question about bluray on amazon.co.uk
As far as I know, there is no "PAL" or "NTSC" format Blu Ray - I've purchased a few so far and they all play fine in my US PS3. Just make sure that it is infact Region Free before ordering and you should be fine.
With that said, there may be some Standard Def. features on the Blu Ray that ARE encoded in PAL, and I can't say if those would play or not.

On top of SD features (encoded in PAL) be on the lookout for menus that are encoded in PAL as well. You won't be able to see the menu if you run into that situation. I had this issue with the French BD of "Superbus- Live A' Paris", which was Region-Free but the main menus and extras were all encoded in PAL. This meant I couldn't even see nor access anything past the opening Universal titles (couldn't get into the menus)
Just because a BD is listed as "Region Free" doesn't mean it'll play without a hitch in U.S players.
