Trick 'r Treat - October 6th!
I haven't seen it, but the hype is making me strongly consider a blind purchase (which is extremely rare for me). I'm just glad its finally coming out!

If this is the movie I'm thinking of from the Grindhouse fake trailers then it should be a pretty good movie. Definitely be picking it up.

^I know I've seen the trailer before thought it was from the grindhouse stuff but I guess not. Either way I'll be picking it up.

This one was finished 2 years ago, but never given a true theatrical release by Warner Bros. I'm looking forward to the blu-ray release as a blind buy also.

I cannot even begin to recommend enough that everyone blind buy this movie. Hands down, it is the best film about Halloween I have ever seen. I hate WB for not giving this a theatrical, so everyone needs to buy this to show them how wrong they were.
For those curious...

yea, this is probably gonna be a blind buy for me as well.. im kinda shocked they arent gonna try to capitalize of anna paquin's success from true blood and just release it theatrically.

Probably my most anticipated release of the year.
Wished they used this art instead.

It was likely 'prepped' years ago when they were DD5.1 only. I kinda suspected it might be DD5.1 only like Amusement. This was rumored for a Theatrical last year, right? That means they had already done the work on the BD. Sucks...but I'm still buying it.

It's been rumored for theatrical since 2007, so I'm sure the elements were in place long ago. No bother. As nice as a DTS or TrueHD track would have been I'm just glad to finally get this fucker on BD.

Yeah, I suspect this was done last year after HD DVD was over. They were DD5.1 heavy. This possibly means a BD25 disc as well with a low encode size.

How come this isn't up for sale yet on the WB site or Amazon? I would like to get it and another title plus a free one with the WB offer but it is nowhere to be found.

Will not be picking this up, Movie is a great concept but unfortunately the execution falls short, way short. and quickly becomes a tired cliche of other better executed horror movies.
I saw this back in 2007 when They premiered it durring the screamfest filmfestival, luckily most screamfest tickets are free so i didnt have to pay to see this.
Anna Pauqin was in the audience that night as was Brian Cox and some of the other cast members.
