amazon has NOTLD for $18.31 price matching Walmart https://www.amazon.com/Night-Living-...g+dead+blu+ray

Walmart's site also has the Silence of the Lambs for the same price https://www.walmart.com/ip/Criterion...-ray/445908644

I'm not 100% sure about NOTLD, but SOTL is a 2 disc set which makes it more than 50 % off since it would be 25 bucks during a half off sale.

Im not a big fan of Walmart but I had to preorder. These deals were too good.

Update: NOTLD is a 2 disc set too, so pick them up while you can!

Tried to add NOTLD to my cart, but it won't let me. Says it's no longer available, despite showing as order-able. Weird.

According to the Criterion website, both releases have MSRP of 39.99, so they will both be 20 at the next half off sale.

Ah, I assumed they would both be $50 MSRP since that's usually what Criterion charges for two disc sets.

Still a good deal now that Barnes and Noble no longer allows coupons

Amazon is saying not available now for both discs and Wal-Mart has raised their price on both. Congrats to those that gone in while it lasted.

Missed SotL. It was up yesterday but Amazon had it frozen and wasn't allowing you to add it to your cart when I found out about it.

Squeaked in on NotLD though. I think this is going to be the first time I've ever owned the film on any format.

re: The Criterion Collection 4K/Blu-ray Discussion and Release Thread

how much was the lowest for NOTLD? i def. got SOTL. that was nice especially with my no-rush shipping credits. think i got in on NOTLD too as it was a great price. not $18.xx, but still with no-rush shipping thing it is all worth it. this no-rush shipping spoiled me. i haven't gotten it since though. oh well...

I can't believe they raised the prices so quick. I got in my order for both at Wal-Mart. I would have used Amazon but the Criterion Silence of the Lambs already wasn't showing up on the site.

The Last Picture Show was included in Criterion's 'America Lost and Found: The BBS Story' box set.

Still waiting for them to give John Sayles some love, preferably beginning with Lone Star.

My debit card got charged with a hold for $19 and change; do any online stores charge you the higher price if they raise it? That'd be messed up.

Did it actually get charged, or is it just a pending (hold) charge? My credit card just has a pending charge for pre-ordering Silence at WM.

Pretty sure it will be the lower price since they already processed it. But I'll be watching my order to make sure.
