It's a shame that Don't Look Now doesn't have the commentary that is on the UK release. Otherwise, it looks like a great release.

Don't Look Now is a day one purchase. A strangely haunting movie.

Look at the bunny! Look at the cute little bunny with the Art Garfunkel songs! Look at the rivers of blood and brutal fight scenes!
True, but there're rumors about the OOT get a rerelease and the OOT getting one in the near future as well, both unconfirmed. It's agonizing
.
I have no idea what The Third Man's vudu looks like. As far as comparing it to the OOT, you know better than that. The Third Man has one excellent blu-ray that is oop but can still be found even if it is expensive and one pretty good blu-ray that can be had for $15. You can even throw in one excellent, but oop DVD that can be found for a very reasonable price. I wish that were the case with the OOT.

Just wanted to pass along that in addition to those mentioned earlier in the thread, the following WB Archive titles have been discontinued:
The Asphalt Jungle
Before Sunrise
Before Sunset
Cat People
Day for Night
A Face in the Crowd
Klute
Magnificent Ambersons
These are all obviously huge titles and would fit in with the rest of the collection nicely. Just a reminder that people are speculating that these are going to Criterion due to their recently revealed working agreement with WB. There's no guarantee that any of these will get released. This year's New Year drawing could be very exciting though.

Those all look like eventual Criterion or TCM releases.

What was that one w/ dogs being hunted cuz they were suspected to rabid or something. It's a UK animated film, I think. I can't remember the title for the life of me.

The whole Val Lewton box set was so killer that I can't imagine a stand alone Cat People being worth the effort. Do the whole series of films!

Agreed. I love Linklater's Before films.
Again, the Lewton set is great, and I wish the whole set would be upgraded to Blu (although I wouldn't be surprised if Cat People was the first one to be released, regardless of whom releases it, just due to its popularity compared to the other Lewton films).
