Wow, they went for the throat with that original-poster artwork for Rosemary's Baby, didn't they? Brilliant.
Excellent month. Can't wait to get my hands on In the Mood For Love, too.

That Sunday Bloody Sunday cover is great! I've actually never seen the film. I'm a bit surprised at The Blob's absence - I guess it'll have to wait until November or December then. I'll Netflix The Forgiveness of Blood (never heard of it), and will stick with my Mood DVD. Of course, Rosemary's Baby is a must-buy.

In the Mood for Love is one of my most eagerly awaited. As far as I'm concerned, that's their biggest announcement for months!

I've just noticed the spine numbers are jumping from 629 (Sunday Bloody Sunday) to 634 (Rosemary's Baby), is that common?

I'm definitely in for Sunday Bloody Sunday, Rosemary's Baby and In The Mood For Love, all on Blu.

In the mood for love is my all time favorite movie. I'm going to keep the DVD too just because I love the art (and it'll be convenient in case I'm traveling or whatever and don't have access to a blu ray player).
This will be the only movie I own two copies of.

I have the DVD of In The Mood For Love but didn't get around to watching it yet. All of your comments are making me want to watch it, but now I feel I should hold off for the blu-ray. Dilemma!

A solid month, though nothing that leaps out at me as an instant purchase (I really like the Polanski and Wong films, but I have a hard time getting excited about most upgrades.) I will admit that I knew nothing about The Forgiveness of Blood or the Gainsborough films before this, so I'll be sure to give those a rental.
I disliked Sunday Bloody Sunday, so that's the only one I definitely won't be picking up.

Rosemarys Baby once it hits about $15ish. Criterion is sure lovin' Ruth Gordon this year.

Great to see Rosemary's Baby officially announced, and I'm really shocked but happy to see the original poster art being used. I haven't watched In the Mood for Love in years, but I just happened to watch 2046 recently so it has been on my mind.
Yeah, but that one was just, uh, BS. Well, it's titled Bloody Sunday.

Also, does anyone know of any other Criterions that use the original poster artwork? The only other ones I can think of are The Royal Tenenbaums, which used a modified version of the poster for the slipcover, and I believe the same with Life Aquatic.
