The 'Burbs is as close as I get to having a favorite movie and it's been at the top of my Blu-ray wish list for years. I'd almost taken the plunge on a region-free player just for that one title, so I'm thrilled to see it finally making a debut here.

Looks like The Dark Knight trilogy is being re-released July 5th. Looks like the crap is out (mostly), but the content is intact. $29.98 right now.

So I guess you can thank me and Spiderbite!
I've never see 3 O'Clock High though. I guess I'll have to check that out.

I did the almost exactly the same thing, except I did put the DVD in to check out picture quality and it was "meh" so it went further down the in the unwatched pile.

It is another one that I have been wobbling on for a long time figuring that a BD had to be coming eventually.

Jeff Lieberman's Blue Sunshine is up for preorder from a new company called FilmCentrix. Release date is 7/4/16.
3 Disc Blu-ray/DVD/CD set. Price is steep at $34.99, but shipping is free at the moment.
Looks like it includes a nice array of supplements.

I might consider getting myself Miami Vice if it comes out at a decent price.
But, I wonder if they will be able to license all the music. That's my main concern.

Rush Hour Trilogy - 10/11/16
All three movies with a list price of $25 doesn't seem too bad. It's a shame Chris Tucker isn't on that new featurette.
The cover art looks hilarious . I don't really think that looks like either one of them.
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are back with the Rush Hour Trilogy Blu-ray collection! Three international blockbusters (Rush Hour 1, 2 and 3) jam-packed with explosive action and nonstop hilarity in this all-in-one collection with custom artwork developed exclusively for this collection. Bonus disc exclusive includes new featurette documentary with director Brett Ratner and star Jackie Chan as they look back on the making of the Rush Hour franchise nearly 20 years later.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
Didn't wanna create a an entire thread for this but just realized Training Day really needs a newer, proper release. I believe it was one of the first BR releases & has reg Dolby 5.1 audio. The HD-DVD release actually had better A/V quality.
Pass on this even though I watched it as it aired. Very underwhelming ending. Just watched Nightcrawler for the 3rd or 4th time & & realized Nas was Jake G's 'employee'.

It probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, so I'll toss it out here. XXX 15th Anniversary Edition is out on 1/10/17 and will include HD audio this time, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1

Star Trek: Enterprise being re-release as a complete series set 2/14/17
MSRP is $118, but I can see this being sold for about 50-60 bucks early on.

This brings back memories from being a kid. I remember watching these on HBO.
