Awesome news!
I though Platoon had already been released. Midnight Cowboy is welcomed but these are "wait till their under $10" titles.

Oh, nice. Are those all the special features available for this film? I've actually never seen it, but looking forward to checking it out for the first time on Blu-ray. If it indeed does not include the Theatrical Cut, then maybe I'll have to import the UK Theatrical version, if people feel that it's worth it. (Is it worth it?)

If I were you (or, if I could get in a time machine and advise my younger self), I'd not even bother with any of it. The movie, for me, was a monumental disappointment. Unless you're excited by the idea of an autobiographical narrative that rings so false you'd never guess the author/filmmaker actually lived it or the minor miracle that is a Kate Hudson role/performance that doesn't outright suck, there's nothing there for me to recommend with either cut.

Nailed Heavy Hetal

Times are not good for catalog. These retailers exclusives are not great support.

Day one for me. I just tried to watch the DVD the other day, and was not impressed with the upconversion.

There are rumors that Taxi Driver will be released on April 5th. Supposedly an announcement is coming soon.

I'm not interested in this title, but at least it's going to be sold by someone. I'd rather see Best Buy sell a title vs NO ONE selling it.

Didn't see this posted.... The Digital Bits is saying that BB will also get The Cove, Still Waiting... and Rules of Attraction as exclusives on 2/1.

I'd bite on Rules for $10.

^^ Are these exclusives something like a three month window of exclusivity, or they will never be available anywhere else?

They haven't been given universal street dates, but it's generally a couple months.

Pretty much a bare-bones affair though, identical to the DVD - vintage featurette and trailer, plus a new 32-page booklet.
