Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
Not to knock those who like these, but I'm actually slightly relieved that catalogs are being mentioned that I don't want for a change, as the first 3 months of the year are the most expensive 3 months I've ever had by far in blu or dvd before that.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
I hope the Larry Flynt Blu-ray carries over the extras (and easter eggs) from the 2003 DVD release.
I'm not sure if this necessarily means anything, but this website is using the image from the older DVD release: http://www.highdefdiscnews.com/?p=57699
I'm not familiar with Image Entertainment's releases. I know they partnered with Sony last year to release catalog titles, but I don't have any yet so I'm not sure how quality the releases have been.

More public-domain/budget Blu-rays? Does anyone know anything about these guys? I'd be in for all three if the PQ is decent enough, i.e. superior to DVD.

I don't recall seeing this announced anywhere, but Target is exclusively carrying "Overboard" (Kurt Russell) on BD. I picked up a copy today for $9.99.

Someone on blu-ray.com said there's a few more MGM exclusives at Target.
Fistful of Dollars, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and The Magnificent Seven.
The Target ID# for Overboard is 058320197.

The Incredibles April 11 Disney has a sense of humor with that srp

When it comes to Disney BDs, their MSRP are irrelevant compared to what most everyone actually ends up paying....
