No idea if the release is any good though.
I'm sure it's not. Alliance - 1080i - non-OAR, etc. Thanks though.

^^^
Just pre-ordered the complete series from Amazon after it showed up in my Gold Box, it's selling for $146.99, my price was 139.64.

ETA: I should've said they aren't showing a release date yet.

Booger. Finally opened my DVD complete set last month. Incredible series, but now I'm wishing I had sold/returned it, and waited for BD.

Tried doing a search both via Google and site's search engine, but couldn't find it mentioned anywhere:

Jet Li's Unleashed is getting a release from Universal on September 14th, and it looks like it's going to be the Unrated Cut this time. I'm actually a pretty big fan of both the story and the action, so this will be a pretty quick pick-up.

Not an annoucement, but looks like Fox and Warner are abandoning TV releases for Lie to Me and Venture Bros.

TVShowsonDVD updated the Venture Bros info. In short, the plan is for the BD to be the complete Season 4 sometime in 2011. The split season will be DVD only. (Let's face it, it's been a long time since Season 3 was released and seemingly as long since the first half of Season 4 aired.)

Jackson Publick (a.k.a. Christopher McCulloch; the creator, writer and director on this series) -- Here's an exact quote from Publick:

"We were originally going to hold off on producing any DVDs of Season 4 until all 16 episodes were complete and we could release one massive boxed set, but given the massive amount of time between seasonal halves, that's pretty unlikely now. The current plan is to release a standard def DVD of the first 8 episodes sometime between July and October (depending on how quickly we get our acts together to record commentary, dig up special features and design the packaging), and then release both a standard def DVD of the second 8 episodes and a Blu-Ray of the entire 16 episode season in March. But that's all I know right now, so don't ask me any questions about it."

Ahh ok good. That wasn't posted when I saw it. Sales were really bad for Season 3 do it wouldn't be a huge surprise. Shame about Lie to Me unless that changes.

But then they'll re-encode the film in AVC while turning all the DNR dials up to 11 on the actual film (like the Predator re-release)....you can't win!

Great. I already have like 4 similar releases, since they keep adding new things to it each year, and now it's going blu. Crap.

The list priced has been updated, so it is very likely the US release of a trilogy set.
