Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
Why do you say that Gizmo? I'm not in the know about why anything is released, but Modern Family is a pretty big hit, so why are you surprised it's being released? Are there other examples from the same company of equally or more successful shows not getting an HD release?

Glad to hear about Modern Family, definitely in for that one and Dollhouse. I'll wait and see how the It's Always Sunny discs turn out before I get pumped for that...

Will be happy to (sadly) complete my Dollhouse collection....
Might grab Modern Family depending on the price as well!

According to release lists, 'Lost in Translation has reportedly been pushed back until later in the year in favor of other Universal titles'.

Bored to Death: Season One -- September 14
$49.99 SRP -- Extras are listed as audio commentary and behind-the-scenes
Source

This got better as the season went on, but I'll likely wait to see if Best Buy as their annual 50% HBO titles sale before Christmas.

Psycho will screen at Cannes Classics this year.
"PSYCHO (United States, 109’, 1960) by Alfred Hitchcock. Print restored by Universal Pictures and Audionamix. Please note that the film’s soundtrack has been restored/reconstructed."
Sounds good for the upcoming BD.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

Sure, whatever Warner...go ahead and release that second part of a trilogy, I am sure the sales will be GREAT with the third and final part remaining unavailable as a standalone release....lately, the inmates really seem to be running the asylum over there....
