Even though they say Child's Admission, it can be used for anyone, just pay the difference in price. Child's admission is for $8 while an adult one can be for $10-12 on other tickets.

There are now a few confirmations about the $19.99 price from a few other members on blu-ray.com.

Re: A Bug's Life coming in May

with Disney upping the MSRP's of it's bluray, I might have to not preorder Monsters Inc. and just wait and see what places like Toys R Us, will have their prices after it's street date release.

Cars and the Rat were my absolute top-of-the-line BDs for a long, long time, but I think this has them beat. PQ is just stunning, but the audio is what puts it over the top, just spectacular use of the surrounds, a completely-immersive experience, what a treat!

after reading this, i went by the local TRU and there was no sign. however, i found a price scanner and scanned it and it said 19.99. it also said the price was good through 6/21, but who knows if that's true.

No sale signage up at the one I went to today either, but the $10 off discount is definitely programmed into their system at checkout...I used my leftover $10 store credit from returning Bolt (long story), and was out the door for only $10.99 after tax!
Then I took back the copy I got at Costco for $29.39.....wow, never thought I'd end up with over $18 in savings on this one, PLUS the free ticket to UP.....
Man, TRU is definitely the place for great Disney BD prices...this is like the 3rd or 4th one this year where they have beaten the competition....

No issues using the movie cash today at my nearby AMC. I wonder why it says child's admission on there.

I think all of us are wondering that, but clearly it's meant to be for everyone.

HA! I think I should tell the story then....
I bought Bolt at TRU the day it went on sale (a Sunday) for 24.99 - $10 coupon = 14.99 + tax....well, the Lilo & Stitch SE 2-disc DVD was being released two days later on Tuesday.....they were offering $10 off the combined purchase of Bolt and Lilo, so I got a second copy of Bolt (and used a second $10 off coupon) when I bought Lilo, for a total of $24.98 plus tax (after the two combined discounts)....when I returned the original Bolt BD purchased on Sunday, they refunded me the amount I paid in cash (14.99 + tax), plus gave me a $10 store credit as a refund for the coupon....I told the lady straight up that it was a coupon, as the receipt reflected, but she said their computer counted it as store credit for the refund and it was due to me....
I've been saving it for the next Disney BD (as that is mostly all they sell/have good prices on BD-wise).....glad it finally worked out today!

Re: A Bug's Life coming in May

well i stopped by my favorite bestbuy tonight and my favorite customer service witch was there, giving me an attitude when i came into get my bugs life bluray price matched for the Toys R Us price of 19.99.

it was like pulling teeth getting the little witch to match the price.

looks like another call to best buy is in order after my underworld and spiderman, and starship troopers price matching ordeal last week.

Re: A Bug's Life coming in May

and to counter the "poor" customer service at BB

I went there today just to try and PM with no intentions of being sucessful given my local (TRU) store 2 blocks away is out of stock and like I said there is no print ad for this sale.

I asked the customer service rep if they were PMing TRU's 19.99 price on the title. She said she would look it up. I told her she would not find the price on their website as it was an in store price only. She got the number of the local TRU and called to check the price. The TRU employee told her they did not have it in stock (and could not verify a price). Because I knew the deal was valid I told her I saw the price at another "local" TRU. She told me that their policy was that the title needed to be in stock. I told her I understood and did not expect her to call around to multiple TRU locations. She told me to hold on and I saw her talk with a supervisor telling the sup the TRU price I was claiming and she said they had it at 34.99. The supervisor seemed to indicate to go ahead and give me the 19.99 price and then just went ahead (the sup) and and rung me up.

Re: A Bug's Life coming in May

Well, back on to the discussion of the Blu-ray itself, I finally got around to watching it tonight and WOW, I cant' believe it looked as good as it did. I wasn't sure if an older file would hold up as well for Disney/Pixar but, I should have known better eh?

Yeah, I watched this yesterday and was impressed at the detail that I hadn't noticed before. Especially the texture of the Grasshoppers.

Toys r us is right next door to bestbuy in the same shopping plaza. doesnt take a whole lot of effort really for them to verify it,

Re: A Bug's Life coming in May

Bummed that I missed out on the $19.99 price for "A Bug's Life" from Toysrus. I hadn't even put any thought into upgrading to Blu-ray at that point in time. Ugh. Anyone know where it can still be had that cheap?

My main reason for bumping this thread however is that Amazon now lists "Monsters, Inc." as being 4 discs instead of 3, as previously stated. I don't know if this was talked about previously, but it looks like it's 2 BDs, 1 DVD, 1 DC. I know this thread turned out to mainly be about "A Bug's Life," but it's the only thread I remember that discusses "Monsters, Inc." and I didn't want to start a new one just for this. It's exciting though that this and "Up" come out the same day. Anticipating some great combo buy deals.
