Just snagged the digibook. There's allegedly one more copy available at a store a good 45-50 minutes' drive from me. All the other local stores come up (supposedly) empty according to the web site.

I ordered this second copy for in store pickup in case option #1 fell through, but will probably just let it go now.

I wonder how many of the E.T. digibooks they are ordering. Hopefully it's more than for Jaws since it seems they could have used more to meet demand.

Finally watched the movie this weekend. GORGEOUS.

Also got to The Shark is Still Working, which was fantastic. I'm not getting the complaints.

Followed all that up with How Jaws Changed the World. This one was so-so.

Best Blu-Ray of the year.

That's nothing new. I've seen many people buy movies they didn't like at all just for the packaging. It's a bit ridiculous, in my opinion. I would never buy a movie for just the packaging if I didn't like the movie.

I think these are being re-stocked. Best Buy in Fayetteville, N.C. (which has a huge/popular) Blu-ray section just got 15 or so of the digibooks. Part of me wishes I had sprung for it, but I suppose the regular edition will suffice.

C'mon, go for it. Don't you want to have the same movie in every package being made? Everyone else does. You'll be the only one without them all.

Goddamn. Just got it today in the Digibook packaging. It's so gorgeous. Now how the fuck did Hitch not get that kind of love?! I watched the restoration bit on Jaws. I wanted to grab the head guys on this film and yell, "why the fuck aren't you on Hitch's set!?"

I see the digibook can be ordered online and sent to store. I've never done that before. Can a Universal 100th $3 coupon be used when I place a best buy order to be sent to store?

Almost all of my closest stores are now showing the digibook as back in stock. You might want to check your locations if you still want this release.

Interesting...most stores in my area show it now as well. Guess they finally got more stock.
