The Invention of Lying-Funny movie AQ was spot on but the VQ was iffy.

Apollo 13: It looked great and I didn't come across any of the loading problems that I had heard about.

Black Dynamite! Easily one of the funniest and best films I have seen this year! AQ was great and the VQ was a purposeful mixed bag but totally appropriate given the subject matter! Great, great movie!

Summer Hours - Netflixed it & really enjoyed it a lot. Definitely will pick this up should B&N have another sale. Perfect PQ, excellent film.

What's not to enjoy? For their first foray into HD and the 21st century, I thought the turtles seriously kicked it in this film! Great movie, glad you liked it!

Extract Found this pretty humorous. Jason Bateman was perfect in the part of the guy whose life is falling apart and Kristen Wiig (who is from Rochester) is funny and sexy in this pic.

District 9 Strange movie. No ID4 clone that's for sure

Crazy Heart-Even better than I expected. Maggie definitely earned her supporting actress nomination and Jeff was brilliant. The music was an even bigger surprise, because I don't like much country, but I plan to pick up the soundtrack next week.

Pandorum - Not horrible, but wish it was a rental. If ever in the mood for something like this I'll probably just watch the much superior Event Horizon, or Sunshine, or Pitch Black again.

Nice to see some appreciation out there for this film!

Avatar - 2D home theater experience equals, if not surpasses the 3D theatrical presentation. When the 3D was on it was very effective. But I found it inconsistent, at times even distracting. In 2D on my modest 42" Panny many scenes or sequences were jaw dropping. But the quality was consistent throughout the entire length of the film. Kudos to Cameron and camp for putting out a Blu release utilizing the full extent of the disc for presentation. It shows in spades!! ...regardless of the actual story quality.

There is a ton of appreciate for that movie here. People have posted about it a lot.

Thomas Crowne Affair - Not in love with Russo like many are, would have loved to have seen Michelle Pheiffer in this role, & have never liked Leary at all, but still a damn good remake. Always felt Brosnan is so under-appreciated.

The Slammin' Salmon -- double ugghh -- makes Beerfest a fricking masterpiece

The Transporter -- after the previous two movies this was like watching Casablanca for the first time...

Are these two films region locked for B or are they playable on Region A BD players?
