Just finished watching Fast & Furious for the second time. Solid PQ and excellent AQ. It's a fun movie but, then again, I'm a fan of the franchise.

Beetle Juice - Wow, what a trip down memory lane! I hadn't seen this one since I was a kid. It's aged pretty well, although some of Keaton's showboating is a bit much. A lot of fun, and the PQ was outstanding. I just wish Burton had recorded a commentary track.

re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?

Yesterday I watched Mutant Chronicles. It was a fun over-the-top sci-fi/actioner. The AQ was first rate. The PQ was a mixed bag. It was clean and clear but the film has a very low rent look to it (due to the low budget), some shots are oddly soft, and the grain filter that they added to the video (this was shot digitally) is sporadically absent during random shots and scenes.

Afterward, I watched Race To Witch Mountain. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It's hardly an award winner or a must buy but it's a rather charming kid-friendly sci-fi/action flick. The PQ was good (but not great due to sporadic ringing) and the AQ was clear and aggressive (though certainly not a knockout).

Green Lantern: First Flight. Once again pleasantly surprised by how good the DC animated movies have been so far.

Wow, you watched a lot of bad movies. Revolutionary Road should have been at least 4/5 IMHO. Chungking Express is one of my all time favorites. I still need to watch my Blu-ray of it.

Coraline . Amazing movie, excellent PQ/AQ. I'm going to have to get this one.

12 Monkeys. I can't believe it took me this long to finally see it. What an absoutely awesome, incredible movie - this is easily a sci-fi classic.

So far it's been an excellent film day for me!

GenPion, if you liked 12 Monkeys, check out Brazil...

Just finished Mutant Chronicles. Descent PQ and AQ, but the story was boring, and the production value was very low. Also, John Malkovich was only in the movie for about five minutes!

Meet Dave-Not nearly as bad as has been suggested. AQ & PQ were both good
Shaun of The Dead-Hilariously great movie & AQ & PQ were great as well.

Watched "Fast and Furious" last night. Wow, this one actually had a decent story and wasn't nearly as stupid as you'd think it would be. I like part 1, but didn't think much of 2 or 3, but this one was actually pretty good.

Of course, the audio and video were outstanding.

Last Chance Harvey - I expected it to be slow, and it was even slower than that, but it was as good as I expected, and a good choice for a movie night with my mom.

Weeds - Season 4 - Disc 2 - I only started watching this show a few months ago, but my wife and I absolutely love it. There was a transitional period where the 'normal life as a drug dealer' issues turned into 'this is too much for me to believe', but the entertainment value has gone up as a result of that for me.
