It was ok. Compared to 'To the Wonder' it's a masterpiece.

Had been planing to spin this around the holidays for a while now. But it was reports of Carrie Fisher's cardiac arrest, and the way that element figures into this that me finally pull it out.
Still a great movie with a devastating final shot that helps wash away the feeling of self indulgence that snakes it's way through much of the film.

I loved the film up until the ending. Still one of the most enjoyable cinematic experiences I've had this year though!

The Hollars...not very good. Good actors in a maudlin, but sentimental movie that is kinda by the numbers. Hopefully Krasinski has better up his sleeve.

Dreamscape...loved this one since a wee lad. Always stuck with me. Not a fan of Shout/Scream transfers to be honest. This one looks dark. But enjoy this one and the extras are of course great. Think it's the cut version though. Too bad.

Saw this in the theater and liked it. Got it for Christmas. Was a good movie to watch after dinner last night. Don't want to speak ill of the dead but I never liked Anton's Russian accent. Hearing him in the featurettes made me wish he had toned it down a little.

Night of the Hunter...very good.
Mechanic: Resurrection...what a pice of crap. wasn't even remotely similar to the slow burn, coolness of first. this was just dumbed down action nonsense and all Alba was there to do was look good. can she do anything else? terrible waste.
