Dazed And Confused Captured a lot of the times. I graduated in 1977 which is when this movie is set. I though the cars and clothes were good. Can't remember the word "bitch" ever being used back then and it waqs used quite a bit in the movie. A lot of the relationships, the cruising, the drinking at the park all happened.

You know what's nuts? That movie was made longer ago from now than the era it depicted was from when it was made.

That's easy for you to say. True, the movie was made only 16 years after the time in which it was set, yet it was made 20 years ago now. Which means I graduated 36 years ago. YIKES! I think half the people on this board are younger than the number of years I've been out of high school.

Well, this forum does skew older than most, and while you're certainly older than me, at 41, I'm no young whippersnapper either.

Gangster Squad

Seems like they were trying to remake the Untouchables.

I liked it.
