re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?

I remember watching Smokey in HD which I taped on Encore.

I wish I had a Trans Am.

It seems like this movie should have been released in the 90's and with Tom Everett Scott as one of the leads it must have come from the 90's.

It was crazy. There were certainly times when popular movies and TV shows influenced car purchases but the increase in Trans Am sales was insane. In fact I can't think of any other example with that impact.

Arthur (The Original) Forgot what a gem this was. Liza Minnelli, Dudley Moore, John Gielgud, unbelievable comedic timing.

Django Unchained Such a wonderful and nuanced flick. This may well be my favorite Tarantino movie since Jackie Brown.

I thought maybe Knight Rider might have influenced some sales back in the day or maybe the General Lee.

This is 40 (....minutes too long). Few laughs but too long.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind-I'm not a huge fan of the science fiction genre but Close Encounters is a movie that never gets old

Just saw for first time a few minutes ago and agree 100% with this.

Clueless This film still holds up for me after all these years. It just keeps me smiling form ear to ear throughout its brief runtime.

I thought Broken City was a 28 day delayed release at Netflix?

Not Fade Away

With Shia LaBeouf and Zoey DesChanel knockoffs played the leads though the ending was WTF?

I recommend it though.

Silver Linings Playbook. Very good but will be happy when the "shaky" cam phase of movie making is a thing of the past. Like that will ever happen...........

The Man With The Iron Fists...

This movie's heart is in the right place, but Russell Crowe was wildly miscast in this movie. He clearly showed up for a paycheck and all the producers cared about was having his name above the marquee. Incredible A/V quality but Rza's inane voice-overs nearly ruin the movie.

Delhi Safari...
India gets into the big-time CGI animation genre, aimed at families with young children. Standard family stuff, though you can tell it wasn't produced by a Hollywood studio. An animated monkey waves around a realistic handgun and a pivotal moment occurs when a leopard is graphically shot dead.

Gangster Squad. I'm a sucker for period movies so enjoyed it. Bloodier than I expected but not as bad as some have found.
