Apollo 18 Sucked
Young Adult Also sucked
Zombieland After 2 terrible movies I had to throw in something I've seen and knew I would like. Emma Stone in an early scene stealing role.

After about 20 minutes of trying to figure things out, you lose interest and quickly regret you were even there, most times not wanting to admit you were as well.

Is it me or did 'Apolo 18' start out with a ton of potential and it turned out to be like sex while in high school.

Young Adults was supposed to be a dark comedy, but it was just plain dark. No laughs, maybe a couple smiles is all. Charlize Theron was such an asshole of a character I had trouble staying tuned. I didn't care what happened to her or any of her circle

The Next Three Days
Not exactly the type of action hero you see in most movies.
Casa De Mi Padre. It had some good laughs and better than 21 Jump Street.

Chronicle is not that bad and they are a lot worse films out there. I did not care about it after watching the trailers but I was stuck with it since everything else is on "Very Long Wait" at Netflix.
I hated the characters in the beginning until something happens to one of them and then it got interesting.

Batman Begins (HD DVD) - Decided to watch the first two with my gf before we go see TDKR. Loved watching this again, had her enthralled, too, but, fuck, my HD DVD was getting glitchy as hell in the third act. Time to ditch it and grab up some trilogy set on BD once TDKR is out.

enjoyed them all- but WED and IOTBS made for one of the absolutely most entertaining evenings I've had in my HT in as long as I can recall.

The Dark Knight - Hadn't seen this one in a while. It's a very good film, but I really don't get the rabid fanboy love for it. Batman's fingerprint bullet analysis still makes me scratch my head. I really wish Nolan hadn't gruffed up his Batvoice in post so much. But Heath still sucks all the air out of the room every time he's on screen.
