Finally bothered to rent Super 8 this past weekend since there wasn't much else watch/do. I thought the trailers made it look crappy so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this flick. I look forward to owning the BD.

What Happens In Vegas The banter between Lake Bell and Rob Corddry make this movie. Ashton is just as annoying as always

The Mask of Zorro. Still holds up after all these years. It was a treat to finally see it in HD.
I only ever had the first release of it on DVD and was never satisfied with the audio (it sounded too harsh) or the transfer (the brightness was clearly boosted in some parts).
The BD, on the other hand, looks and sounds fantastic.

The Moody Blues: Lovely to See You
I saw them on tour, probably not long after the show on this disc was recorded. The set list seems practically identical.
Lodge's voice (which has deteriorated some; it sounded like the backing singers were carrying most of the falsettos) seemed to be strangely mic'd. Hayward sounded great to me.
Other than that, great audio (and video too, despite the 1080i). Sounded thunderous and brought back memories of the concert.
Also, the bonus interview was kind of funny, in a strange way. The three main band members just seem to be talking to the camera, rather than each other. And I laughed out loud at Graeme's recounting of his wives, and his attempt to pronounce "Shawshank" (at least, I think that's what he was trying to say).

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - I didn't remember a whole lot from when I'd seen the Swedish version, but I really enjoyed this. Mara was really amazing (and smoking hot) as Lisbeth, Craig was wonderful (though it was weird seeing him act so meek at times), loved Reznor's score and the editing. I enjoyed how much of a slow burn the film was, taking plenty of time to let the mystery fully mature.
