Green Lantern First Flight - Just love watch my boyhood superheroe come to life, if only in animation.
But the nailed the movie, it really was the comic I remember reading back in the 70s.

In the middle of watching Santa Claus The Movie 25th Anniversary edition. It's the first time that I've ever seen the movie in widescreen. It looks great !

John Rambo, actually liked it better than Rambo. More emotional impact IMHO...

Watched a good chunk of Back to the Future last time after getting my UK tin in the mail. Looked great, sounded great... no complaints.

Just finished watching Sivaji: The Boss. It was loads of fun and the PQ is fantastic. The AQ is also great but a touch too hot which leads to some mild distortion in the louder bits (particularly noticable during choruses in the music). Lately I've been listening to my BD's at -15dB on my receiver anhd I had to bring this one down to -20dB in order to keep it pleasant to my ears.

Spartacus, season 1, disc 1 - absolutely ridiculous, but fun.
The Pacific, disc 1 - extremely well-made and beautiful to look at, though a bit dry.
They're almost the opposite of each other - one takes itself way too seriously and the other not seriously enough.
Though they're both practically perfect looking/sounding blu-rays.

Grown-Ups Had a few laughs. If you don't like these guys don't even bother just because most of it is just them ad-libbing.

Quantum of Solace - Holy shit, what a borefest. I enjoyed Casino Royale quite a bit for what it's worth, but this one was just totally uninteresting.

Fire & Ice: The Dragon Chronicles – 2008 Syfy movie that lived up to those standards. Poor CGI, even worse acting (primarily from the supporting actors) and an inane story that I did not care about in the least. Good news is the picture didn't look too bad and the audio was adequate.

The Amityville Horror ('04) - Last time I saw this was in theaters, and I hated it. But, now that I've seen more of the shit PD produces, this one didn't look quite so bad. Still a mediocre horror flick, though, but I've seen worse. PQ was excellent, as was the AQ. Lame MGM left all the extras on the included DVD; all the BD has is a trailer.
