The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - Very let down with the adapation. My thoughts are over in the movie thread. PQ was nice but nothing amazing. Shitty lack of any features aside from a short feature.

The International
I was hyped for this film during pre-production with everyone involved -- Twyker, Owen and Watts. However, film reviews soiled it for me. I never saw it during its theatrical run and it wasn't an instant preorder for me either. I did finally see it today through a cheap purchase via Amazon Marketplace.
With my expectations sufficiently lowered, I pressed play. 118 minutes later I still feel disappointed.

Sherlock Holmes saw it last weekend but my daughter wanted to see it so I checked it out again this tonight
The Informant Looks and sounds good. Found the movie to be entertaining

To counter-balance these negative reviews for The International, I would like to chime in my opinion: that it was one of my favorite movies of the year it was released. An excellent Tom Twyker film and one that I enjoyed immensely in the theater. If anyone hasn't seen it yet give it a chance before making a final verdict.

re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?
Over the past couple of weeks:
John Landis' AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (1981): did Jenny Agutter love to take her clothes off on-screen or did directors hire her because they assumed she didn't mind doing it? Regardless, saw the movie from Alex's POV (instead of David's or rotting Jack's) and had a blast. They don't make them like this anymore.
Brian DePalma's THE UNTOUCHABLES (1987): Morricone's score is one of the coolest ever recorded; without the 'March of the Righteous' mix the shootout in the court house would be lame as heck.
Andrew Davis' ABOVE THE LAW (1988): Davis does for Segal (who can't act but can lay a mean smackdown on unsuspecting extras) what he did for Chuck Norris in "Code of Silence." Man, 80's movies haven't aged well at all (especially the crappy film stock during night shoots) and it really stands out in high-def.
Lawrence Kasdan's WYATT EARP (1994): ponderous Costner-Kasdan bioepic whose every second weighs a ton, but is actually fun if you want your Western myths de-mystified rather than exploited (ala "Tombstone"). A cast of bad-ass men (Madsen, Hackman, Quaid as Doc Holliday, etc.) compensate somewhat for the crappy female roles (good actresses are wasted) and Kevin's typical ego trip of grandiosity.
Wong Kar-Wai's CHUNGKING EXPRESS (1994): seen it four times already, one of my new favorite movies ever. Forget 'California Dreaming' (yes, I know you can't after seeing this), Faye Wong's voice in the soundtrack covering the Cramberries' 'Dreams' is the song that is stuck on permanent rotation in my head (and MP3 player). Second story is better than the first, but the magic of Kar-Wai's skill is that it retroactively makes the first story seem better. A modern-day classic.
QUEEN ROCK MONTREAL & LIVE AID (2007): not a Queen fan but this is a great time capsule concert of the group at its absolute prime; Mercury is such a showman you can't take your eyes off of him as he prowls the stage and has a stadium full of fans in his hands.

Kelly's Heroes Picture is a nice upgrade over the original SD. Sound is OK but still sounds like an old movie. Obviously not a lot was put in to remastering a bargain title. Still a fun movie, glad I double dipped

Death Proof - I have been itching to watch this all week, my first time watching it in blu. Loved it. PQ was amazing, I'm really glad I popped this in tonight, probably gonna watch Inglourious Basterds and Kill Bill in the coming week.

Oh God...
Twilight
and next up I have to watch New Moon.
My wife has been kind enough to watch the first 2 with her girlfriends, but she begged me to see the 3rd one with her next weekend, which forced me into watching the first 2, so I at least had a clue.
Other than the hotness of Anna Kendrick and the actress who plays Alice, it pretty much was what I expected. Fairly awful.
I will say, at least the second half was at least somewhat entertaining. But the first half was tedious to say the least. I wouldn't call the film bad, but it really does seem to go out of its way to please the exact demographic that has mad it such a hit with teens and even older females.

both on bluray:
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - can't say too much on the audio, since I was watching this with the 'filmmakers' commentary track - but the video - wow! I sooo can't wait to see 'Dawn Treader' when it comes out at the end of the year!
The Neverending Story - wonder what and how Wolfgang Petersen would have improved the image, since at times the colors seemed a tad bit too saturated at times. The 5.1 audio though was very impressive for a remix.

Batman Begins
I'll be brief this time. Great movie, decent picture quality, good sound, had a good time watching it.

Hancock
I will admit that this film is a guilty pleasure. It's fun, interesting and has an awesome score from John Powell. The shaky cam is bothersome at times, but not very often, it worked for the most part. The video is nice despite it's 2k master and over saturation/contrast. The audio isn't bad but it's nothing great either. It lacked bass and rear speaker usage, but I'm sure that's the sound mixers problem not the discs.
