Mission Impossible III HD- Outstanding PQ & AQ
Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer BD- Great AQ & PQ
Star Trek : Nemesis BD- the transfer does not wow me as much as I'd expected it to. It looks & sounds great but i would have preferred 7.1 as opposed to the True HD 5.1.

I thought Star Trek: First Contact looked fantastic.

I was in the mood for some sophisticated comedy so I threw Wild Hogs in.

An American Werewolf in London - I never get sick of this movie. I never got the HD, so this was the best I've ever seen this movie look. And that new documentary is as good as any movie feature I've ever seen.

Chuck: Season 1. Below-average PQ. Awesome show. I hate myself for not getting into it sooner.

My wife was watching this from the beginning. I just got interested mid-way through season 2 and got hooked. Watched season 1 on blu recently and can't wait for s2 to be released. So bummed it's being treated like a red-headed step-child and will probably be gone. They'll throw a few episodes out in March after the weather turns and cancel it citing poor numbers.

Observe & Report - Loved it in theaters, loved it even more at home. Awesome PQ, great AQ. Haven't gone over the extras yet. I wanted to rip this to my iPhone... but then I saw it's a WMA-only digital copy. Fuck.

Finally got around to watching Let the Right One In. Great movie, even with the butchered subtitles.

Star Trek: Nemesis

The AQ was pretty damn good, but the PQ was a little underwhelming. It wasn't bad, but I'd place it behind First Contact and Generations.

The Class. This was an absolutely amazing and powerful film. It is morally ambiguous, thought provoking, and works as a believable drama with it's improvisational documentary-style approach. This film won't answer your questions, nor will it truly attempt to - instead it will leave you tied up in your own thoughts on the actions of the students and their instructor and what it means for them as well as society as a whole. This is not one to miss.

re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?

Got the day off today, and I'm going to try and catch up on some titles in my enormous back-log of blind buys. Started with Bridge To Terabithia. It was much better than I expected it to be going in. I only purchased this one in the first place because it got positive reviews and I somehow snagged it for $3 shipped. Absolutely worth owning. I loved the story, was surprised by it's maturity, and was emotionally connected to it's messages on friendship and imagination. Great PQ/AQ too. I really got a bargain on this one.

Commando. This was a horrible movie. I can't believe I actually made it through the entire film (and this is coming from a big fan of Schwarzenegger). I'm adding this to my "sell soon" box.

re: Last BD or 4K UHD disc you watched?

This was a sword and sandal day in the Schrader household

This afternoon I watched the theatrical version of Gladiator Not nearly as bad as some of the reviews made it but the EE did make my eyeballs bleed. The PQ was an easy c+, although could have and should have been an A.

This evening I watched the Directors cut of Troy absolutely gorgeous pq and great aq. The added footage added a lot more to the characters and more meat to the battle scenes, especially the burning of Troy. But at 3:15 it is an epic I won't often have time to watch.

Just for good measure and to lighten the mood I watched the SD of Roadtrip just to see some Amy Smart boobs. I know this is for hi-def but I'd love to see Amy Smart's boobs in hi-def.

Or maybe you're just homophobic since Commando is the single gayest movie ever made!
