The Edge - I've always liked this film. The themes of man vs. nature and man vs. man are put to great use here. Hopkins and Baldwin are both fantastic, though Baldwin does ham it up a bit at times. Luckily, he's one of the few actors who can do that and still be convincing. PQ is good - light grain throughout and a few soft moments, but generally solid. AQ sounded great - Goldsmith's score is wonderful. No extras, though.

New Moon God it awful; the first one was actually ok because of an entertaining second half...this one bored the hell out of me. Now, though, I can keep my promise and take my wife to see Eclipse on Saturday. I should be free of responsibilities until at least Halloween.

Bounty Hunter This movie could have been so much better. Had they spent more time creating tension and danger instead of just bickering I think they would have had a winner. Instead they had Butler without his shirt and Aniston in a short short dress spending almost the whole movie discussing their nine month marriage. Christine Baranski was criminally underused.

21
Despite the filmmakers and studios arguments to the contrary, 21 is not based on true events. The only real connection to the actual events as described in the book Brining Down the House are the names of the characters, and the fact that Ben counted cards to pay for college. Other then that, it's perfectly enjoyable fictional story. The book is much better, but the movie is still fun. I've seen it a few times and still enjoy it, so that counts for something.

Legion:
+ Action scenes are very entertaining.
- Dramatic scenes are not (dialog can't be taken seriously when most of the conversations involve a guy named Jeep).
-- I'm not kidding, there's actually someone named Jeep in this movie.
C-
Sherlock Holmes:
+ Rachel McAdams looks pretty.
+ The fight scenes look good.
- I don't remember any fight scenes in the old Sherlock Holmes movies.
-- After the first forty-five minutes all I hear are Charlie Brown teachers.
--- Spent the rest of the movie in fast-forward mode.

Where Eagles Dare great movie. Sound was DTS - HD although very little surrounds or sub. Funny how the cheesy old background effects of a movie playing behind the prop vehicle is really no worse than the greenscreen crap of today

Tried to watch Crank 2 on my BDP 350 but it wouldn't play even though my firmware is v020. This is real bullshit. This is not a new movie and there have been no firmware updates in 9 months?

Greenberg
I liked it a lot, however not how it ended. And I really didn't think Greenberg was totally unlikeable either.
