With all of the "eye candy" I've ordered lately... I figured it's time for some "brain candy."

Thanks!

I found it interesting. Then again, I am a documentary buff.

I saw two of the eps on Discovery HD at my cousin's house a few months ago. It was beautiful and interesting.

But to each their own.

I also saw a couple of the eps on Discovery - not exciting, but definitely interesting, and definitely worth $22.49 for me.

It's only a bargain in the relative sense of the word, but Amazon.co.uk has the I'm a Cyborg Tartan Blu-ray in-stock for £17.59 -- which, after shipping and everything, should come out to between $27-28.

I just watched the set I got from Blockbuster. It was a good set, PQ and AQ were very good. It was interesting if you like documentaries however there was really nothing new. It was all stuff I'd seen over the years in different version, just not in HD. There was the mini-series a few years back From The Earth To The Moon that went through all this. ALthough it's listed as 4 discs, it's really 6 episodes over the first 3 discs. The 4th is just special features that I'm assuming you need better than a 1.0 profile player because I couldn't access any of the information it.

This set is for the person not that familiar with the missions and wants to learn more, or the person that loves to own this type of thing in HD regardless of the content. Other than that it's a rental.

NASA is also a huge waste of the tax payer's money but that's for another forum.

I was not able to place an order for this item:
I'm A Cyborg [Blu-ray] [2006] - Ji-hun Jeong
£15.30 - In stock on 11 December, 2008. Order it now.
Condition: new
Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L.

*** We're sorry. The quantity that you requested is no longer available. The number to the right is the maximum quantity currently available. ***
It lets me get past the charge screen and I get the message. Which is odd since they claim it will be in stock tomorrow (or in a few minutes in the UK.) Perhaps they've already sold the quantity they will receive.

Erm, yeah that's dead. Now it's up to £59.99 from independent sellers.

I thought the Tartan titles were out of print because they went under.

The AB titles routinely hit around $10 on random sites after a few months. I'm waiting it out before buying Heathers.

In case anyone missed it, Amazon has yet another buy 2 get 1 free sale going here:

http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_link...rd_i=193640011

This one includes 220 titles, including some that haven't been a part of previous sales...it says this one runs through December 17....

I was finally able to snag Jerry Maguire and I Know What You Did Last Summer (along with Starship Troopers)!

That's more like it! There's a ridiculous number of combos to be found in all that.

Some good deals, but they jacked the prices on a ton of titles that were dirt cheap during the BF sale.

That's true. But there are also some others (Casino Royale Collector's Edition, Persepolis, Redbelt) included that up the ante, along with the other tempting ones from before (The Mist, 1408, etc.).

Once I get my hands on my Amazon rewards certificate, I'm grabbing The Fall, Starship Troopers, and In the Line of Fire.
