Not that big of deal, but Amazon has "Traitor" on pre-order of $21.99. Comes out 12/19.

Just as an FYI. I saw this in the theater and I really don't recommend it as a blind buy. Rent it first to see of you like it.

Good advice.

I saw it in the theater and really liked it. Solid performance from Don Cheadle and the rest of the cast, great action, thought provoking POV, and a good twist.

With this price being only a few dollars above the DVD price, if you liked it, grab it before it goes up again. Or buy it, watch it once and trade it away.

I concur. I saw it in the theater and liked it, but have no desire to own it...

Just got a shipping notice on my Buy 2 Get 1 Free Criterion deal from Amazon a while back. The prices shipped out at the correct amount for those whose orders still say "Price determined upon shipment."

That's an insane deal! Makes me happy that I have waited to buy it.

I'll bet Amazon will match that as well and I can save on sales tax.

Depends on your taste. I 'happen' to like The Happening. But I already got it for $15 from a Columbia House B1G1 and it arrived the day of its release.

Is that price before or after the discount?

I got it as rental from BB. For me there just wasn't enough happening in The Happening

Some Blu-rays scheduled as part of Amazon's gold box deals tomorrow (the 18th). The others are PS3 games:

6-10am - Gooooal!
10-11am - Hell hath no fury like this brother scorned.
11-12pm - 60% off these classic stop-motion monster movies in high-def (Ray Harryhausen collection for $43.xx)
12-1pm - No tombs were harmed in the raiding of this underworld.
1-2pm - Mamma mia, here I go again / My my, how can I resist you?
2-3pm - Iceland has research facilities?
3-5pm - Keep the kids entertained in high-def
5-6pm – Watch Spidey in high-def
6-10pm - Kage bunshin no jutsu!

Figures, I'll be at work when the Harryhausen set goes on sale.

If the Mamma Mia (BD) is less than the $26.99 I pre-ordered it for, I'm gonna be pissed.

It's scheduled to be delivered today, but it may just sit in the box until tomorrow afternoon.
