BD live isn't really a selling point for me. I DO CARE about a player being 1.1 though, as those features I will use. I probably will end up adding a flashdrive though, just to check out any features.

Adding a S350? You already have more players than most people have rooms in their house. I mean, how much time are you spending in the bathroom? And do you really need to be watching movies in there?

Regardless though, can't you buy mini 1GB flashdrives that won't stick out as much (like say the size of an HDMI plug going into the back)? I've seen some super-small but I don't know if they are "compatible" with the players.

IIRC, the USB on the back is kinda recessed into to the player so it doesnt stick at as bad as you might think.
Maybe there are drives that small now - I haven't had to buy one in a while.

I think the 550 will be my next player so I will be dealing with it either way. I want the 7.1 analogs as an alternative to HDMI if needed. My back up receiver is non-HDMI.

I only have two BD players (LG 200s) and only two TVs in my house. I break out the PS3 if I need to access a BD-Live title but it typically sits in the closet. That's kinda why I want the S350 for BD-Live...but LG is apparently listening to owners and may release an update in the near future.

One of the $10 rebate titles if one owns the DVD also.

The USB port is VERY recessed. You can barely see the flash drive sticking out.

It should be noted that the Amazon B2G1 sale has been changed. They replaced the titles available with Sony titles.

SD-DVD of Kill Bill 1 & 2 are now $12 for both, minus $10 Best Buy gift card by mail. Great deal for owners of Blu-Ray Kill Bill who want to take advantage of the Blu-Ray upgrade rebate. Even better deal for me because I already had a BB gift card.

So $12 for 2 movies & a $10 gift card. Damn. Any others eligible for the upgrade rebate?

Gangs of New York I think.

There are also a lot of titles in a 2/$12 or 5/$25 list, not with the giftcard deal, that may have BR upgrade rebates.

So any of the Buena Vista ones (Kill Bill, Gangs of New York) have the rebate thing in the Blu-ray case, right?

My Kill Bill 1 and 2 Blu-Ray discs that I bought from Best Buy last month - both had the upgrade rebate in the case.

Do you have a link that allows you to preorder? This one says it's not available for preorder yet...

When I click the link it says it's available for Pre-order.

(but then again, I had already preordered it)

I swear it said "Click here to be notified.." etc. when I posted. Now it's back to letting you pre-order. No surprise, it's Amazon. Who knows what goes on over there.
