Exactly 1, and it's a combo-disc - Hot Fuzz. I don't have an HD-DVD player, and the damn thing froze up while I was watching the DVD side.

I may have said that at some point. Certainly for $5 I'll even buy stuff like King of California. It has halfway decent reviews and is not much more expensive than a rental.

If my dvdaf count is correct, just north of fifty. I may end up with more than that as the "big" titles I haven't gotten yet and am waiting for them to drop to $10 or below: I Am Legend, Jesse James, Into the Wild, Zodiac, Batman, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised to see HD DVD titles for sale at $4 a piece before the end of the year, although it may not necessarily be titles we want. For example, there's no reason for me to get Doom, End of Days, or titles like that, even if they were free.

I got excited when they got under $15 and bought everything I thought I might eventually get around to watching. Now I'm having problems finding anything cheap that I haven't already bought.

43. Only had 12 before the HDDVD died. Instead of sinking with the ship, I bought another boat I guess Grabbed a backup HDDVD Player and started bargain hunting for movies. May end up north of 50 as I wait for a few more.....

Added two more (or 6 more, if we're counting discs). I've been looking for a deal on Planet Earth (either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray), and I couldn't pass up the deal at the UK Amazon site, especially because it has a bonus disc (5 disc set compared to 4 disc US set).

~$40 shipped for Planet Earth and Shaun of the Dead on HD-DVD, I'm calling it $30 for PE and $10 for SotD. Less than half price, and a bonus disc, sucked me in. Just got it yesterday (pretty speedy shipping from the UK, ordered on the 1st and received on the 7th). Damn it looks awesome in all it's 1080p glory!

Looks like 118 at the moment. I may buy a couple at Fry's this weekend.

This was one of only two HD DVDs I was disappointed with. I already had the SD special set with the Robby model etc. I thought the picture quality of that was superb, so I had to get the HD version when I saw the price drop. The picture quality is no better than the SD, as far as I can tell. So you aren't missing much if you already have the film.

Van Helsing was the other HD DVD where I thought the picture was actually worse than the upscaled SD.
