It's considered to be one of the superior efforts within the dead-hookers-haunting-Victorian-mansions sub-genre of horror.

Plus, auteur Armand Weston has an impressive ouevre - how many other directors have worked with both Vanessa Del Rio and Gloria Grahame?

Looks like The Nesting will be a bare-bones affair. From Blu-ray.com--
Blue Underground has announced The Nesting (also known as Massacre Mansion and Phobia) for Blu-ray release on June 28. This eerie house-of-horrors movie was co-written, produced, and directed by notorious adult filmmaker Armand Weston, and stars Robin Groves and Academy Award winner Gloria Grahame in her final film role. Long unavailable on home video, The Nesting has been newly transferred in high definition from the original camera negative and is presented here in a never-before-seen director's cut.

Special features include:

* Theatrical trailers
* TV spots
* Poster and still gallery

One day, I'll import the Arrow release too, for the extras.

From a Deadpit podcast quoted here, regarding Zombie:

It’s going to be in 2.35.1 widescreen just like the movie and we shot it all in a really cool way. It’s going to be very different than a lot of the stuff I’ve done...I think Bill’s plan, and I can’t speak 100%, but I think Bill’s plan was to definitely have that out for Halloween this year. But again, plans can change and I’m not making the official announcement. That’s just what the plan is right now. I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot more official announcements from them as we get closer to it. This is going to be a big, big special edition.

in regards to Zombie, wasn't there at one point a mention that a slightly longer cut of the film surfaced recently?

Probably just me then. When I rented it long ago, I didn't like it.

I was kidding. It does look dreadful - I'll have to check out the VHS copy I have before deciding whether to spring for the Blu-ray. The the lack of any extras makes it even less appealing of a release. In other BU news, Torso is due on 7/26.

Agreed. You've swayed me into waiting to pick up the Synapse release instead of the UK release which is cheap.

I'm almost salivating for Inferno after reading the review of it on here.
