I bought an LG BH-200 (both formats) just after Christmas and have supported HD-DVD exclusively since it began, but I'm pretty sure that Zodiac will be my last HD-DVD purchase. Personally, I'm glad the format war is over -- I didn't care either way (hence the LG), I just wanted the war to be over.

I have an A2 and a 360 add-on and approx 28 HD-DVDs.

I have decided to keep the 360 add-on since it can do 1080p and dump the A2. I ended up with 2 players because of the great deals going on but didn't really need two players. Now that it appears HD-DVD may become a ghost, I really only need one player and the 360 add-on boots up quicker, upconverts fine (from what I read), is always connected to the internet and it can do 1080p.

I hate to say goodbye to the A2 but I really didn't pay much for it when all is said on done. If I get $50 on it I will break even so no major loss.

I will still continue to buy HD-DVDs until the format is dead. They will work just fine, look as good as BR and should hopefully be really cheap. I just won't pay more than $15 for one...as I have the whole 3 months (!) that I have owned HD-DVD.

I have an A3 and an A35 (which is 5 days past the return date) which I will continue to use for my 25 or so discs. I will buy HDDVD as long as it's fire sale prices.

I just picked up Zodiac and LOVE it, so I'm not giving up on HD DVD yet.

I won't be buying any more HDDVDs. Plan to eventually support BluRay when the PS3 comes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down in price.

I am sad to say I may have to give up on HD-DVD. My first A-3 was glitchy and would pixellate and freeze on various titles. My new replacement A-3 played the first movie perfectly, but again pixellated and froze on a movie last night. I REALLY want to keep it, but I'm frustrated and about to give up after 2 lemon players. I will try to watch a few more titles to make sure last night wasn't an isolated incident, but this whole experience has been very discouraging.

Well, I have an A1, 360 add-on, and PS3... Probably wont buy anymore HD-DVDs. Just because there isnt anything coming out by Uni/Paramount that I want. If something came along I wanted, I would buy however.

As long as there are B1G1F HD-DVD deals, I'll continue to buy. If not, I can still use the player as an upconvert DVD player.

I only paid for an A3 (pre Black Friday deal in 11/07) and one HD DVD (Planet Earth). The other 8 HD DVDs were free ... sold the whole lot yesterday ... moved on to a PS3 ...

I'm getting rid of my sealed HD-DVD titles, switching them out for Blurays when possible (I still don't know when I'll be able to afford a Blu player). The only "new" HD-DVD release I can't wait for on Blu is Zodiac. I'm going to keep my Xbox addon and continue to use it with my new computer; if and when HD-DVDs are cleared out, I'll pick some more up that I've been holding off on until I could afford them.

I am also not sure why there's no "continue to buy both" option. I buy films, not formats. If it wasn't for the movies, I am sure I could find something much more attractive than a bunch of red, blue and black cases to decorate our place with.

That's one thing I'm having trouble deciding. I picked up the Blade Runner HD-DVD on release day, but I have not opened it yet. Should I bother exchanging it for the Blu-Ray set, even though I don't have a PS3 yet? I plan on picking one up before the end of the month, to take advantage of the 5 free Blu-Ray by mail offer, but that's after the 30 day period for Blade Runner expires. I know one thing though, I'm going to take back my unopened HD copy of Batman Begins. If there's one thing this whole situation has taught me, it's that I don't necessarily need to double-dip on titles I already own on DVD. Plus, I'd rather have the Blu-Ray release at this point, to make it consistent with the release of the new film.

That would qualify as "going down with the HD-DVD ship" as well

After Zodiac DC I'm still looking to get Grand Prix & The Mutiny On The Bounty on hd. I don't think Warner will release these in Blu-Ray anytime soon

Hopefully Amazon will have one last BOGO b4 it's all over for hd-dvd

I too will go down with the ship. Until HD DVD is 100% dead, I have no desire to make the jump to Blu Ray... I have an A2 and about 10 HD DVD's. I will continue to keep buying HD DVD's that catch my eye. Blu Ray can suck it!!! HD DVD will continue to fight and win...

Owning a Toshiba XA2 and 30 HD DVDs I'll too will continue to buy HD DVDs until there is a Blu-ray player worth buying.
The XA2 is far too good to get rid of. HD DVD supporter waiting (and willing) to go neutral.

I won't sell any titles, but will not be buying any new HD DVD titles (if any will come out). I already started buying BR discs, even although I don't have a player yet (waiting until after CES)

I wish I had bought some Blu-Ray titles on boxing week. Wal*Mart had the first two POTC films for $15 each. Same with The Prestige. Oh well.

I think there aren't more than a dozen HD DVD on the release slate for the first 6-7 months of 2008, so buying opportunities for HD DVD won't be all that high anyway. I think I'm done with buying HD DVDs (i.e., the ones that I haven't picked up yet), unless I can get them for cheap, like in the $5-$8 range.

Never owned many discs for either format, but once the fire sales start, I'm all over HD-DVDs.

I have both, but my collection was largely skewed towards HD (about 110 HD : 20 Blu). I'll continue to buy Universal and Paramount exclusives until they announce otherwise.
Am selling/trading many of the WB HD DVD's to buy the BD version, as long as the Blu versions are available for even amount or less (BOGO, etc).
