There were a few movies I wanted in the two best of collections so I got them for 45 and change. At that price I can easily sell off the ones I do not care about. May get a couple more. I wish this was HD DVD also though since I would buy them on on HD DVD instead - oh well - the benefit of being neutral.

Bought my dvd's yesterday and they shipped today! Woot. So the whole shipping estimates are way off. It says it's arriving the 14th but I'm sure they'll be here by monday or tuesday.

Holy crap, I'm so jaded these days, I would have bought some of the BDs if the $23.95 titles were priced $19.95, just didn't want to spend $12/BD, but $10/BD is my purchase threshhold.

Yep, I was not tempted by the original offer but went for The Wild Bunch when it was added and picked up GoodFellas to go with it

like clockwork, Sony is now back with B1G1 folded into the WB B1G1 selections list (the old Warner promotion link didn't work when I tried it).
Can't say there is anything at all I'm tempted by here- there is some good stuff, but I picked up all of it in the B2G1 sales in Aug (and still haven't watched them).

Man, a little over four pages' worth of titles and I still struggle just to find one title that interests me. I'd love to benefit from one of these sales one day.

I went with A Christmas Story, Deliverance, Good Night and Good Luck and Viva Las Vegas (I waited too long to grab kiss kiss bang bang
) Now with the sony stuff, I'd probably add in Black Book and Underworld, but I've got some Christmas shopping left to do, so I'll have to hold off on those...and besides, Sony's go B1G1 ever other week, warner not as much.
