Right now the assumption is it will be US playable, as all WB UK Blu-Ray's apparently have been so far.

As Bunkaroo mentioned all Warner UK Blu-Rays have been region-free (I have one myself). The Japanese disc is the same Region as the U.S., if you're worried. According to the covers at DVDEmpire the HD-DVD will not have a True-HD track. There is no U.S. Blu-ray as it's Paramount over here.

As much as I'd like to get the HD DVD, I think I'll wait and see if there's a UK Blu-Ray, as it looks like Buena Vista may have the rights there.

Im mainly only purchasing BD now also, but I think this is one that I definately will not mind upgrading later to have it in HD asap.

Plus, if done right, this will look cool in the red case. ;)

It figures I would be one of the few who actually got the SE of Mrs. Doubtfire from FYE last year.

Kocheese is the source. He gets updates straight from a distributor since he either works or own a retail outlet (sorry can't remember which). All of his updates have been correct so far so his track record is spot on.
