I emailed, then called to see if my message went through and they said they'd send a paper flap to send the old disc in. But I thought they didn't care about getting those back? As a result I emailed them after that with the proper info.

I sent my e-mail on Dec. 20. I received a confirmation e-mail today from [email protected] that they were sending a return mailing label.

Same here. I wished they would send the disc out directly, like they did with alot of other customers. I even gave them every single number I could find on the disc, but they are still sending me a return label. argh!

I'm surprised these places ever send discs directly to customers. Because of places like this, the word gets out and anybody could request a replacment whether they actually purchased it or not.
I was shocked when Warner sent me Superman I and III replacments without me sending in the defective originals. In fact they did it twice. I had actually purchased the Ultimate Tin Collection, but I could have been just looking to get some free discs.

I have received a confirmation email from Disney after sending in my original request 12/20.
I'm also surprised by how little proof is required. How do they know I actually purchased it?? Also, they don't seem concerned about sending back the original. I mean, the framing problem isn't *that* bad, so a friend of mine would probably be happy to take it off me.
Oh well, I guess they accept it as the price for not getting it perfect the 1st time? Or maybe they realize that a very small portion of the community will actually ever bother to request a replacement?

I called the number after no email response for 3 weeks.

I got a mailer, but...nothing to actually send it in. They sent an envelope with a form to fill out, and what I guess is a thing good for a free mailing. But they want the entire case...wtf?

I e-mailed Amazon customer service and asked him if they have received the corrected disc in their inventory.
The person wrote me back "We don't don't carry that title" wtf?? Must of been a new guy on the job or somebody in Bangladesh
Has anybody ordered a recent copy from Amazon and go the NEW disc??
Thanks

I just picked this up at TRU. I didn't see it posted, is there a definitive way to know if correct versions have hit retail? UPC or catalog numbers different?

Ya! I just got it in the mail..They want us to mail the entire case?? WTF? How should we go about this? They're making this way too difficult to get. What happened to verifying the numbers, and sending us a new disk.

Obviously I have no proof, but I suspect my copy from TRU was a very recent recepit of new shipments by Disney. The people I talked to indicated they were not even stocking these BD's until recently.
