According to DVDEmpire, it's the 3-hour version.

High Def Digest lists a title from National Geographic -- "Relentless Enemies" -- as coming to HD DVD and Blu-ray (dual-layer on both formats) on March 27th.
Apparently at tonight's HTF chat, Kevin Collins announced the Star Trek movie franchise as coming to HD DVD from Paramount this year. Someone on AVS claims that he said it would be an HD DVD exclusive, but it could be a misquote. |
Thanks Adam.

Taken from my distributor.
More BR stuff: King Arthur: Dir. Cut -04/03/07 Here's the BR titles that are showing Moratorium (AKA delayed/cancelled): Marie Antoinette Glory |

All lies I tell you!!! ;) Here's his quote: For instance, the Matrix trilogy will be coming out this year from WHV, Star Trek will be exclusive to HD DVD this year, Babel and The Good Shepherd. |

The only delays I can see for BD titles right now would be due to BD-J....I can see studios releasing HD-DVDs with IME first, but it seems that they are starting to wait on those too.

Damn it! |
Maybe Sony had problems with their HD master for Marie Antoinette... It wouldn't be the first time.

DVD Times has the cover and specs for Big Fish. Just the commentary (which is sort of okay by me, since the rest of the featurettes were forgettable...but it's still not a good precedent).

Speaking of "space superiority", this is a MPEG-2 transfer on a single-layer disc. I wouldn't hold your breath for a quality picture from this disc. Shame on you Sony. This is shitty release, and you know it. |

I'll just continue to rent until the better versions come.

As a rule, I've been far more impressed with HD-DVDs consistency in terms of PQ than BD. That does mean one is better, just that i have personally been more impressed. I've seen about 20 of each of format. |
Well, that's fine then, as I will agree that some of the earlier titles may not have been stellar, which is why I didn't buy into BD until October after I had seen output from other studios. But I think they've all been very consistant with PQ since then and many reviews will support that.
