Ugh. That's a crappy way of picking a release strategy, I certainly hope that doesn't stick.

That FOF cover looks good....too bad I didnt like the movie. Ill wait for "Letters from Iwo Jima"...THAT was a good movie!

That makes no sense . Why would this "older audience" even buy BD then if there are no movies they like on the format? Sony should be putting out all the movies that demographic likes now, if they want even the slightest chance of getting them to adopt.

That really is an absurd reason (excuse) for the DaVinci delay... Are they really going to wait a yr and a half to release one of their biggest movies? Hope the extended version is offered...

I returned my SD copy days after release since I knew that this was going to come out on BD.

It's fine with me, though. I'm enjoying the hell out of HD DVD.

No foolin'! For someone who just turned 22, she looks like crap!

I seriously doubt she's really 22. That would put her at around 15 when she filmed the nudie and three-way scenes in The Hole. Even with "American Beauty" clauses (if they even have those in the UK). I'd say she looks more like 25-27.

Anyway, that slipcover must be a fake with that misspelling.

I don't care for slipcovers, but it would be nice if they could just have the swoosh on the slipcover and have regular art (no swoosh) on the actual cover. Then, the swoosh could accomplish whatever it is that it accomplishes, without affecting the cover art.

The order the names appear in on the poster/DVD cover are contractually agreed upon, and have never been directly related to the actual artwork. This is a very common issue.
