Hey, they've earned it. I was never that big on Buena Vista, but their recent Blu-ray output has impressed the hell out of me. Fox/MGM is doing the exact opposite, hence my skepticism over any release of theirs being high quality.

I thought the movie was average at best, but I'm looking forward to the Extended Cut and will definitely pick up the BD. I just hope that it has all the extras the 2 discer will get.

My policy has been to buy dual releases on BD lately, but no way I'm waiting on this one. I don't really care about IME, but I also don't think it will be ready on Blu-Ray before WB starts pushing their loathsome Total HD format.

I actually wonder if we will see any of the IME HD-DVD discs on BD by end of year. We havent heard anything about the other titles so far.

the real icing on the cake would be if the first Harry Potter was announced for release on May 29th

Yeah, im wondering if we will see some before the next movie comes out in July. It could be one of the reasons they delayed it.
