Edit: Curse of the Golden Flower has been officially announced for 5/29
Will get Curse of the Golden Flower and yes, I was the only person in the US who enjoyed Blood and Chocolate so I will probably pick that up as well.

Same here. I don't want to risk buying again if there's not much of an improvement over the SD DVD; I'm still skeptical about Paramount.

It's MGM/Fox, so it'll likely be bare bones. Whether or not the transfer is any good is up in the air.

Wow, pessimistic arent we.

Im hoping the recent delays for FOX and MGM titles was to add special features. We shall see.

Hey, they've earned it. I was never that big on Buena Vista, but their recent Blu-ray output has impressed the hell out of me. Fox/MGM is doing the exact opposite, hence my skepticism over any release of theirs being high quality.

Great news! Any clue what the difference is between Ultimate Matrix Collection and The Complete Matrix Trilogy for $119.99 and $99.99?

I'm guessing you'll miss out on The Animatrix and the bonus discs if you get the Trilogy set.

I'm assuming there's been no word on releasing the Matrix titles individually? Really only looking for the first.

Woohoo! Looks like there is one insider on avs who is truthful.

I already had my set off my shelf and ready to sell. This is a no-brainer for me and a big plus for hd-dvd (at least in the short term).

BTW - These will have TrueHD.

I thought the movie was average at best, but I'm looking forward to the Extended Cut and will definitely pick up the BD. I just hope that it has all the extras the 2 discer will get.

Yay! Mallrats and Being John Malkovich. I never got BJM on DVD, but I'm ready to see it again.

Good move to announce a hardware price drop on the Toshibas so close to the Matrix announcement.

My policy has been to buy dual releases on BD lately, but no way I'm waiting on this one. I don't really care about IME, but I also don't think it will be ready on Blu-Ray before WB starts pushing their loathsome Total HD format.

I actually wonder if we will see any of the IME HD-DVD discs on BD by end of year. We havent heard anything about the other titles so far.

Yeah, im wondering if we will see some before the next movie comes out in July. It could be one of the reasons they delayed it.
