All Fox titles have been cancelled from march on....
No details have been given as to why they are cancelled but rumors say that Fox is waiting for a newer security messure for Blu Ray discs.

Looking forward to Zodiac... haven't seen that one yet.
If Zodiac is packed with features, I'll blind buy in a heartbeat (Fincher has yet to disappoint with commentary, etc.)
If it's bare-bones, I'll just toss it to the top of the Netflix queue.

I believe Zodiac is scheduled for a June dvd release. I hope the HD versions debut on the same day. Paramount usually offers all 3 on the same day, but Flags of Our Fathers is a recent exception.

I saw Zodiac in the theaters. Decent movie, but it only occasionally felt like a Fincher flick. He has had better imo.
I would probably get it if its feature packed. Barebones, ill pass.

I think there's more to these delays than the cracked copy protection scheme (which, remember, has been cracked for both formats). Fox has been releasing discs with zero special features, and -- as we can now see from the charts Sony just released -- they haven't been selling. The same thing would happen if they released these bare-bones discs on HD DVD.
Could be that they're actually revamping these releases -- adding special features from previous SD releases and so on, maybe even adding BD-J features. Could be that they're having big troubles with low disc yields and the like, or that there are serious compatibility issues. Or it could be that they're trying to throw their weight around and get Sony scared that they might leave BD -- not that they would necessarily go HD DVD, just that they would leave BD and stick with SD. Or -- and this is my current favorite -- it could be that they've secretly been devising their own format which will boast 500 GB discs (all relatively featureless, however -- at least untill the double-dips begin) and $2000 players (which will be obsolete within 6 months).
Quite seriously, though, without a direct word from Fox, we can't really "know" what the deal is with these delays.

me thinks it's also the pricing scheme.

I'm sure that's been a huge factor in their poor sales. From all of the complaints I've seen regarding Fox discs, pricing has to be number one -- especially given the consistent lack of special features.
Like you say, the pricing could very well be part of it, but surely that by itself wouldn't hold up these releases. After all, couldn't they just announce lower MSRPs?
