Renewal problem....

I renewed my membership on the 18th of december. On the 20th, my renewal automatically charged my account again. SO I paid twice. Now I find out that I bounced a check because of this. What is the resolution for this?

In some ways, I feel bad for the folks at IB getting bombarded with all these requests, during a holiday week no less. That doesn't abstain them from their responsibilities, but I can only imagine what a headache this has become for them.

And how many premium members are there - maybe fifty? The few hundred bucks a year IB makes from this can't be worth the effort. Still, the premium option has benefits. My fellow premies know why.

Re: Renewal problem....

This was simple. They shouldn't have made the subscription reoccurring. I run a VB board with memberships and I knew that I shouldn't make it reoccurring because I didnt want to deal with refunds and such. I would do a drive each year around the time I launched subscriptions to get everyone to sign back up....

Did IB kill your grandmother or something? You seem to have some anger issues with this site.

Re: Renewal problem....

This is becoming a real cluster...

I renewed, then got the double-charge (I canceled the previous Paypal subscription before all of this), email saying I would be refunded, and now I don't have access to premium anymore? WTF is going on here?

(yes I PMed Steph)

Give it a few diays. I imagine IB will be off until Monday but then they ought to be able to refund you.

I just hope you had more than $10 or $20 in your bank account!

I'm not so worried about the refund as to how I don't have access to premium 'stuff' anymore at all. Weird.

Re: Renewal problem....

Pardon me, but I can't seem to be able to IM anybody. How bout some help? Is that to much to ask of the moderators. All you had to do was let her or whoever know. I see you helped other people in this thread. Also, I want to know who is going to pay for the overdraft fee on my checking account?

Why can't you PM anyone? What happens when you try?

Although there is discussion about my problem here, it was all resolved through 2 PMs pretty quickly.

Re: Renewal problem....

Tyler, please PM me with your paypal account info and the amount that you were surcharged for. As mentioned before in previous threads, we will refund you. We were not aware of the paypal auto renew,
Please take note for next year!

Sorry for the inconvenience.
