... mainly because that ad is bugging the hell out of me. It expands without me ever rolling over it, and several times it's still played even when I "close" the ad... and then it expands, and plays, again! It's not a random occurrence either, appearing on nearly every page I go to. How long is this advertising supposed to go on for, because it's doing the exact opposite of what it should be doing.

DVD Talk Godfather
I came here to complain about the same ad. I don't mind sound in ads, or video ads, or flash ads. But when I have no way to control it, then this becomes an issue. Are you using Firefox as well?

Seriously, this is a big problem. I can't have scary music or images popping up with little kids in my house. Please kill this ad, Geoff.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
Me too. Using Firefox, and that damn ad is popping up on every page. Sometimes it covers actual posts, and I can't get rid of it.
I also don't consider it to be very "family friendly." And with the unstoppable audio and video of graphic images, I for one think this ad violates the forum rules
BEGONE, DAMMIT!
