I liked it. It is a true story, but I always wonder how accurate it really is. From what I've read, in the case, it's fairly close. Alec Baldwin and James Woods both were excellent.

Orca - Aside from a pretty damn good cast, all this film has going for it is Morricone's score. Sure, it's fun in a whalesploitation kind of way, but it's also ridiculous. A whale is intent on killing you. Ok..., so maybe just stop going in the water? Geeze. Good fun, though.

Same here. I remember seeing it on VHS way back when. I'm not a big John Leguizamo fan but he's great in this one.
There's a good article about the director here...

He died way too young.

I'm not sure... I've been too busy lately to watch much. I think I'll update this post when I have.
Update: Well, I'm watching Jennifer's Body on Blu-ray right now. So I guess I'll have to just create another post later.

Ip Man
Wow. It was my first time seeing the film. This is why I love Martial Arts films and this is why I go to the movies.

Gomorrah
- great cinematography, narrative & filmmaker p.o.v. that reminds me of 'Traffic' which I enjoyed watching, overall the film was well made but it didn't really do it for me.

Carol Reed's The Fallen Idol (Criterion) - not as good as "The Third Man" but a pretty good Hitchcockian thriller with great use of the kid's perspective to generate good tension. I will never forget the word 'BAAAAAINES' for as long as I live.

Always liked that movie.
