I hate the cover art but I have to admit that the inside art and disc art is nice! Glad to see the content is printed on the packaging, I am sure the Blu-Ray will get a insert? I already pre-ordered the Blu-Ray

And Mark, count me in for needing the inserts for the standard DVD version of the OMG set coming out next Tuesday. Thank you again!

I didn't see any sign of a BD disc for MITB 2011 at Best buy, WM, FYE or target, but did grab the one final MITB 2011 DVD they had at WM today...watching it tonight.

As much as i would love for that to happen, i think it's a misunderstanding by Styles. I don't think it will be on Blu-ray, no websites have it up anymore and Amazon is showing "not available" just like Capitol Punishment.

Joey Style is full of sh*t and doesn't know what he's talking about. He should stick to running WWE.com and leave the discussion of dvd releases to those that know what they're talking about...US!!!!

If they do end up releasing it at a later date I will pick it up, but it's most def. not out as of 8/16! That's for damn sure.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Def. no MITB 2011 BRD for the time being, at least.

I called WWE Shop to ask and they said no. As it was up for pre-order on Amazon, maybe plans changed down the road.

Kinda sucks, since that is one "b show" which deserves the BRD treatment.

It came out on September 23rd, 2003, same as the regular edition. I'm not exactly sure what the extras are on it. I do know that it's considered to be one of the toughest WWE dvds to come by, regularly selling for up to $300 when they do pop up on eBay.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

The Austin DVD/Blu-ray might be the biggest release WWE has done in quite some time. I think it's even bigger than the Hart/HBK rivalry. But both will be great.

Austin updated via twitter:

Steve took to Twitter also (@steveaustinBSR) regarding the completed DVD project:

I was hands on from start to finish on the new one.

DVD has 10 times the promos of the last one.

There will be a blu ray version…almost 3 more hours of material on it.

http://www.wwedvdnews.com/wwe-steve-...mentary/16430/
3 more hours of Blu-ray exclusives is HUGE...i know for sure the version i'm picking up.

I'm glad I held off on MITB 2011, as Amazon's price dropped from 22.49 to 14.99. I still wish it was Blu-ray. Maybe a Summer of Punk Blu-Ray release will be in the works later on.

Picked up the MITB dvd at kmart for 14.99 yesterday, also saw a few good deals on older releases. They had the edge 3 disc set, the mnw set for 5 bucks as well as the trish stratus dvd for 5. They also had Summerslam 2010 for 9 bucks and The greatest superstars of the 80s and 90s sets packed together for 14.99.

JG,

Wal-marts had those Trish Stratus DVDs in their dump bin for 5.00 (just the regular one, not the FYE Exclusive obviously) just sitting there in the bins. You might have to dig deep into those things to find them.

Just saw it last night on DVD and it was a good match (main event). This thing has been selling out like crazy at most Wal-marts I've been to here in Chicago and the burbs.

Didn't see the EDGE DVD at my local Kmart but no big deal, BUT found the Kane set at Wal-mart after digging for almost 20 minutes to find it.

I thought i would never hear that from a WWE PPV DVD these days....but i feel MitB was the most anticipated DVD release since probably ONS 2005.

Awesome PPV from top to bottom, it definitely deserved a Blu-ray treatment though...maybe if people petition for it possibly WWE might consider...would definitely buy it again if that were the case.

SG,

Trust me, it was a pain in the butt to find this thing...Summerslam might also fall into this category as well, so try and get it the first day it gets released. Still trying to find that EDGE DVD at Kmart or Wal-mart.
