Jingle All the Way - first it was out of print; now it's a seasonal release which isn't readily available at retail locations.
The Superman movie ultimate collection (or whatever) - there were production problems, plus the artwork is not as attractive as the snapper releases in 2000.
Macbeth (Roman Polanski's version) - either too expensive or most stores don't carry it.
Dick Tracy - not a bad 80's comic book movie, but I'm boycotting Warren Beatty for some reason I can't seem to remember.

The first one that comes to mind is Menace to Society. It's one of my favorite films, but I just kept telling myself that a special edition has to be on it's way. It's 2009 and it's nearly here. It's special features will probably be a trailer and a digital copy.

Pretty In Pink
Battle Of Algiers
Freaks and Geeks
Undeclared
Gargoyles: Season 2 (Volume 1)
All of the above surprise me because of how much I enjoy the films. For the non-film stuff, I'm surprised I don't have Freaks and Geeks/Undeclared because I have Apatow's other stuff. Even though the series will probably never be released complete, I've always loved Gargoyles and was surprised that I didn't at least buy Vol. 1 of Season 2 after getting Season 1.

I really wish I owned more of the disney classics but thanks to the stupid "vault" marketing I'll have to add them when they come out on Blueray

So a week or so later, I'm thinking - "Jeez, I don't own New Jack City, and wouldn't mind seeing it again, either". When I went to investigate buying it, I was surprised to find out that there was no difference in pricing between the newer 2 Disc Special Edition, and the old bare bones original release - brand new, and baring sale pricing, that is.

I'm a big pro wrestling fan and have pretty much all the WWE DVDs I wanted and the other companies don't interest me...I guess maybe "The Wrestler"? It was a helluva good movie and a fairly realistic portrayal of some in the business.

My collection of 3000+ should cover it.
